Lidstrom is one of the best defensemen to ever play the game. If you don't think that Yzerman is going to make the hall then you don't know much about hockey. But anyway, I like to check other peoples opinions on subjective categories when speaking, so I googled best hockey player ever. For the current crop of older/recently retired players are Hull, Hasek, Coffey, Yzermen, Chelios, NOT FORSBERG. Roy, Bourque and Sackic were there. You overvalue Forseberg, he was injury prone too.
