Maybe in a decade or so they'll remake MGS3 with smell-sensitivity or some crap. I don't see how it would help most games, and it's nearly impossible to pull off in the long term with the sheer variety of smells available and the chemicals needed to produce them, but it would be funny if the The Boss' revised dialogue gave the new feature and honorary mention. It'd feel more like the wilderness too.
