I tried getting witty with a small perl program in my 'text comment' here but I think YouTube thought it was an SQL injection attack.

You rock Damian!! Star Trek and Perl 5 will never die but I'm a ready and willing Perl programmer who will re-learn my sigils and adopt Perl 6 as well!!

Damian explained the Perl 6 features so well in an interview on O'Reilly's channel that I'm much more into the idea of Perl 6 now.

@gianlucacasati Perl6 will *never* come out fully functional and it will *never* run faster than Perl5.  The idiots who took over development of Perl and pushed the whole Perl6 scheme are too stupid to realize that they cant follow in javas footsteps with the 'virtual machine' crap. Perl5 > Perl6. Parrot was supposed to be a joke where it was a vm that runs both python and perl code. Some idiot took it upon themselves to take it seriously.
