well....Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is the same as the manga BUT the original FMA anime is a diffrent story...they are the same in the begining...if that makes any sense 0_o

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood follows the manga..while Fullmetal Alchemist is just a spin off from the manga..some stuff are the same but the ending if different.

no its has diffrent things happen. The first couple episodes are fairly the same but once you get higher up it changes a lot...plus more scenes with roy XD
