  • RedRoost80 is right. The rules state that any pins knocked down by a ball which has already entered the gutter are not counted. Decades ago, I sometimes saw a ball hit the gutter in line with the head pin and bounce up to clip the 7 or 10 pin. If you did that on the 1st roll, the 7 or 10 pin would often clip the 8 or 9 pin and maybe a few others would fall in a chain reaction.

The "bounceback" bit is usually just where the plastic part of the gutter ends.

  • That's an illegal shot regardless if he used another ball or not. A 7-10 split cannot be picked up in a tournament via the gutter unless the ball goes in it the split-second it hits the pin. All spare pickups like that are considered illegal, and would result in a 0. Stupid video. Why doesn't he just throw himself down the lane with his arms out? That'd be more entertaining to watch him hit two pins.

  • This video is just like Sean Rash: Fake and Gay

  • I didn't see an water bottles in there

  • I want the last 12 seconds of my life back.

  • Officially that's a 0.

  • that was stupid and lazy as fuck -.-

  • He actually has an audience? I feel sorry for the poor children that are probably forced to be there...

  • rigged shot FAIL

  • FAIL

  • Its a trick shot, hes better then anyone else on here that just talk shit

  • @WildWestMods lol anyone could have set that shot up like he did. That was a very easy shot he did. He might be better than you. haha

  • Might as well throw 15 balls down the lane and see if you get a strike

  • nice gutterball

  • Cheater he bounced it outta the gutter

  • Sean Rash 7-10 split*

  • I think the only sure way to hit the 7-10 spare is to throw the ball as hard as possible 10 or 7 pin. But aim to hit the gutter right before the 10 or 7 pin. If the bit hits hard enough at the angle the gutter wont catch it but rather deflect the ball back on the lane. And when the ball bounces back in it will hit one of the pins either the 7 or 10 depending on which one your aiming at very solidly and knock it over onto the other.

  • @TheBowlingAddict

the only thing wrong with what you said would be that it wouldnt count for anything if it goes in the gutter before making contact. its considered a "dead ball" in league play and that portion of the score would be removed from the sheets. crankers seem to have the best chance at making this shot by aiming strong on the inside of the pin and causing an off the wall reaction to send the pin screaming back across all boards to make contact with the opposite pin. still tuff shot

  • eh. not a true one

  • mocabeenow - exactly

  • That's lame. Extra ball and hits in the gutter. Why not use the bumpers, too??

  • wouldn't bumpers make the 7-10 split nearly impossible?!

  • no, becasue the real way to make a 7-10 is to shoot at either one at a 45 degree angle and it will hit the back corner, bounce back out and role and hit the other one

  • it wasn't even the 7-10.. it was the 6-7-10, and he rolled into the gutter for a trick shot to show the kiddos standing behind him.. Why are people saying there were two balls. it bounced out of the gutter.

  • there is 2 balls you can clearly see it behind the 10 pin. and when the ball hits it, it hits the other ball. 0:04 is when you see the 2nd ball roll over.

  • yes its a pink ball

  • you see that bright orange round thing next to the 10 pin that hits the 7? we call that a bowling ball my friend.

  • God that was horrible

  • try only use 1 bowling ball next time ;b

  • That's similar to the way I converted my 7-10. I was going for the 10 pin, but I shot a little wide and hit the channel about a foot before the pin. What I didn't expect was that the ball jumped back out of the channel and hit the side of the 10 perfectly, causing it to slide right into the 7. It would have been illegal in league or tournament play, but it was cool to see.

  • fraud!

  • cheater lol jk

  • that doesnt count. ball went in gutter. and another ball was used. FAIL!!!

  • It's just a trick shot...

  • oh well. doesnt count.

  • Stupid not a real pick up. A trick Shot is not nearly as hard as the actual 7-10 pick-up. And yes there is another ball at the end of the gutter. Its no wonder that the camera doesn't zoom in on the ball as it travels down because this is just an illusion and a trick

  • no need to be so serious, obviously it was in jest.

  • Or maybe it was a camera phone and you can't zoom in?

  • lol

  • these comments are ridiculous.

  • most of you guys are idiots

there was another ball at the end of the lane

the ball then activated the second ball the perfectly go arcross and hit the 7 pin.

    duh

its not that hard to recognize.

  • so dont nobody give a fuck how he did it u prolly cant do it and most of us cant do it so dont make such a fuckin big deal about it.

  • Oh yeah, and the one im talking about is when you put the ball just hanging on the gutter in front of the 10, not the one with the pin hanging to knock into the ball over to the 7, just to make that clear...

  • It's like trick shot pool, its harder than ya think cause if its not set up just right you'd miss either side and the speed has to be right to pop the ball outa the gutter to trip the 10. Too soft it won't jump out, and too hard it'll just blast buy the pin. Try this out B 4 ya flame away. Get to know an owner and get him to let you try some trick shots, thats what I did. The flying Eagle is fun and hard as hell...

  • he's at a kid's bowling event. he's trying to get them excited about bowling. an idiot wouldn't notice that there's another ball at the end of the lane. mudducki: you're an idiot.

  • It's entertainment and meant to be fun. When I was in juniors, the coach had a "basketball" with bowling holes drilled and would toss it at someone (who knew the routine and would act scared) during his intro. The charisma's the thing, and it was a good time.

To use the pool analogy, there are a number of simple trick shots that look really complicated that some exhibition players have used over the years to promote pool. Hey, if it works and people have fun...

  • you threw it in the gutter big deal!!!!!! my 1 year old sister is one talented girl if she can do that

  • sean rash thinks he is a big shot

  • tell me what was so hard about doing that... it looked like all you have to do is throw it in the gutter?

  • GUTTER! NOT SPARE.

  • word, what a dumbass.

  • Weak. So they are on shitty lanes with a bump at the end of the gutter? Whoop tee doo! That would never count in any official league event.

    Waste of time.

  • again, the first 3 comments are made by pussies..

  • lol i love to bowl, i own my own bowling alley and i tell you what, i know how to bounce it out of the gutters, ive gotten a strike once before, and its alot harder to do than sean makes it look

  • anyone could make that shot all he did was throw it in the gutter omfg

  • Quit hatin' its a trick shot dumbasses.

Sean Rash would smoke any of you shit-talkers.

  • doesnt count any way because if it iin the gutter then its called a died ball

  • first of all no shit. second of all whats a "died ball"? learn some grammar......

  • yeah really, and he had another ball on the pin deck, so all he had to do was jump the ball out, hit the pin, and the ball would roll over. might as well have used 2 balls on shadow bowling

  • WTF? I could do that no sweat. All he did was throw the ball in the gutter. :P
