Nice deal love the leather seats and moon roof. I have a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Orvis Edition all the goodies like heated seats and memory seats and green and gold leather. It has 135,000 miles on it and runs amazing! Loved your vid! :)
btw the rear lamp failure isnt fixable. i have had all the lights replaced in mine. have after market ones. stills gets there errror. also i get the coolant senor bad error and i replaced that still get it

I HATE this interior ! The interior on 1998 Grand Cherokees was made better; but the best of the best are the interiors of the 1999/2003 Grand Cherokees' (which are in fact almost exactly the same...) .Even the 2005 version and the latest 2011 can't beat it !
Nice. I have a 96 grand cherokee limited and ive had it for over a year now and I still love it. Its valued at 6k because of the condition. Its almost mint and has 45k miles on it. The only thing I wish it has was a sunroof but I can do without

3. You said you had the air conditioning "charged". Do you mean that you fixed them so that they would blow the air harder? If so how did you do that cause our current car does not blow the air very hard like it used to.

2. charging an air conditioner means putting new freon in the system and repressurizing it, it has nothing to do with how hard it blows, just how cold it is. Also, the fan prob sucks cause its a toyota.

So yea if this is a 4.0 and your still getting around 10mpg, you could possible have a blown headgasket or something else. The 4.0 its damn near impossible to get 10mpg. Even if your a lead foot it should always be around 14-15mpg.

Is this the 4.0 Inline 6 ? If your getting only 9.6mpg after 49 miles and its the 4.0 then you might have a issue with the engine. They are suppose to get around 15mpg easily
mine says it has a rear lamp failure too...but i have no tow kit. Mines a 97 grand cherokee. As far as the speakers, they are pretty crappy, im replacing mine right now. Putting in some sony XPLOD 6.5 inch speakers. 100 bucks for all 4 of them at walmart. You have to drill new holes to mount them, but their really easy to install. I recommend them if you're looking to upgrade
hell ya it was a deal, V8's last forever my man. Hell even if u had the 4.0 I6 that engine was bullet proof sir. I have an 01 Grand with the 4.0 and it has 150.770 now and has no signs of slowin down anytime soon.
nice jeep, i got the same one for my 16th bday, except mine is gold instead of white and it has the 5.2l v8 and mine looks almost identacle inside to urs except my head liner aint saggin and also u might want to look at your oil pressure gauge cuz ur motor not suppose to be tht high in oil pressure, ur motor could blow so check it out and my sunroof dont work hah

rear lamp failure also means upper brake light at the top of the window... it was blown in mine and caused the warning

mine says it has a rear lamp failure too...but i have no tow kit. Mines a 97 grand cherokee. As far as the speakers, they are pretty crappy, im replacing mine right now. Putting in some sony XPLOD 6.5 inch speakers. 100 bucks for all 4 of them at walmart. You have to drill new holes to mount them, but their really easy to install. Do all of your doors open my rear drivers side door doesn't open. But apparently alot of gc's have the same problems.
