  • Does it sound like King's College or St. Paul's Cathedral? No. It's a Methodist Church in Cincinnati with a mixed choir. Is it really musical, heartfelt, competent, and moving? Absolutely. A couple of wrong notes in the organ? Yeah, but that accompaniment's a bear. And you guys get precisely at what Ireland was trying to say.

Deepest congratulations from an Anglican musician. You nailed it. I really enjoyed listening to your performance.

  • Thanks. It is a beautiful piece. See more anthems from our choir by searching etra304.

  • We just sung this song at our regions festival in Alaska, and it's a wonderful song. This choir did a wonderful job.

  • I love the voice of that soprano! (and I'm also a little bit jealous :))

  • Marvelous! The choir was superb, as was the soprano soloist. I kept wishing for more accuracy from the organist, and deeper pedal tone, but aside from that it was a stunning performance of a work I have played or sang for decades. Bravo!

  • Thanks very much. We work hard and we have an excellent director. Search etra304 for more of our music.

  • Thank you. We are located in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Cincinnati Ohio

  • This choir sounds wonderful! Is this Hyde Park in Chicago?

  • Lovely tone from the men at the beginning and from the ladies at 4:30.

    Lots of passion an commitment.

Maybe the organist could check the pedal notes...

I missed solo tuba (or trumpets) in the organ fanfare at 3:07

Strange to find Methodists using the word Cathedral...?
