  • I fucking like! :D

  • Awesome!

  • I like how you dropped the sticks!

  • you gotta secure your bass drum mate. It's quite wobbly

  • i lold at the bell at the end. nice job

  • WOW

  • Why do 6/4 and 6/8 sound identical to me? :(

  • @xheartshapebox In 6/8, the eighth note gets the pulse, 6/4, the quarter note gets the pulse. 6/8 will have more of a triplet/swing feel since counting 6 eighths is almost like counting triplets.

  • @AcidRaiNz0Rz Thank you :)

  • Took me three months to realize that 8/4 is nonexistent/ 4/4 in disguise...

  • @GHProProductions IT'S OKAY I UNDERSTAND!

  • @AcidRaiNz0Rz OKAY.

  • @GHProProductions We all realized it at some point! Lol part of learning! It took me a long time to be able to distinguish the difference between anything with /8 and something with /4.

  • @GHProProductions Actually 8/4 and 4/4 would have slightly different feels because you would accent diferent beats. In 4/4 you accent 1 and 3 and in 8/4 you wold accent 1 3 5 7.

  • @OctopusCabbage you do realize what you said makes absolutely no sense. If 1 and 3 get the accents 5 and 7 are 1 and 3 of the next bar of 4/4 ..8/4 doesnt exist lol

  • @Furiiiiouz 8/4 definitely exists. It simply depends on where the accents are in the measure and how it's phrased. If there's for instance a 7/4 section going on, and the writer wants to add another quarter note to the last measure to mix it up, it would seem logical to just make it 8/4 instead of 4/4.

  • @AcidRaiNz0Rz 2 bars of 4/4..it would be a bar of 7/4 and then 2 bars of 4/4....listen to the sound of muzak by porcupine tree or look up Gavin Harrison playing it, he plays a 7/8 over 4/4 and switches into a 4/4 chorus not a bar of 8/4 chorus...double of time signatures don't exist because its just illogical

  • @Furiiiiouz I think we're going to have to agree to disagree on this one :P

  • Also, wouldn't up until 0:11 be more like 8/4?

  • Dude, I have an idea.

    Online

    Drum

    Battle.

    Just think about it...

  • :15-:26 sounds like carol of the bells kinda

  • R u using drum mics in this vid? If not what type of camera are u using?

  • Intro and 3rd patterns are 4/4 though, and the 4th sounded kind of like a polyrhythm with dotted 8ths?

  • This is jeff right?

  • @MCAntiFire Yes, I (Jeff) am on the drums. hahaha

  • @AcidRaiNz0Rz I freaking hate you...You got so good and im still suck....you need to wait up...LOL its Matt Bro.

  • This is just full of epic.

  • much better angle :) nice kit

  • you just made my ears cum

  • do a vid of you doing blast beats... that should be impressive

  • Sounds pretty good man.

  • Form a mathcore band lol.

  • What's your drumset ?

  • I see you got better cymbals =D

  • awesome

  • How do u practice double-bass?

  • Wanna hear a joke?

  • Thanks Jeff. You DID get lucky :)

  • @McGobez0rzTehMighty ;;))))))

  • Dude, this is badass. The only question I have is how did you find other band members who can keep the fuck up with you?! I do stuff like this all the time, and none of them can keep up. I just respond with a simple facepalm.

  • @GHProProductions Idk man, you gotta get lucky I guess :P There aren't that many talented musicians out there it seems these days.

  • You got a lil Matty G in you :D

  • @LilDrummerBoi21 He's one of my idols man.

  • @AcidRaiNz0Rz Ya same here, Matt G and Adam G

  • How do you practice doing double bass? Do you have a special technique? How long have you been playing? I've been playing real drums (e-kit) for about 8 months and I still can't get that kind of speed. Are you using longboards? I have Iron Cobras. Thanks :) Sweet drumming

  • @vkw619 Hey man, just play to as many songs as you possibly can that have double bass in them. I've been playing for a year and I can go a little faster than what I'm doing in this video. I use DW5002s, which are pretty crappy. Want some DW9002s VERY bad. Best of luck to you!

  • @AcidRaiNz0Rz Are the 5002s single chain and really light? I know tons of bands (Whitechapel/Metallica/Cannibal Corpse (used to I believe) that run iron cobras and can get some sick speed (Whitechapel being a perfect example) but I know that lighter pedals and single chain seem to go a bit faster so do you run single chain? Is your spring tension extremely tight? (I'm sorry I'm asking a ton of questions I'm just trying to get stamina and speed up)

  • @vkw619 Yeah single chain, and I have some tension, I like it pretty loose though. But really the speed is mostly from the player, but it's good to be somewhat good in order to utilize your pedal to the max. I've noticed with 5002s that they don't really feel "smooth", so I'm gonna try and get some 9002s soon. 5002s are really good for starters though.

  • look to that AA crash...

    isn't he cute? *-*

  • sounds awesome! but only a small part was 6/4 lol

  • @nunovanhalen023 haha yeah, it says in the description i do some 6/4 in the beginning.

  • well I,ve gotta say, sounds freaking awesome!

  • what genre of music will u be playing? and it was pretty badass

  • @PandaLopez12 We vary sometimes, but the feel of this song is supposed to be really heavy and pump up-ey.

  • @AcidRaiNz0Rz so like a hardcore feel? or like pop punk, cuz im actually forming a band of my own and i play drums, just wondering

  • I liked 0:52 the best
