"Ghalib" was the last film of Noorjehan as an actress/ singer. Afterwords she only lent her voice to other actresses. MD tassaduq composed delightful tunes for Ghalib's ghszals but film did not do well on box office, simply because the cinegoers did not accept jungjoo hero of Pakistani screen as a peace loving poet( jaisa k Ghalib nein apne aik khat mein likha hai ) like Mirza Ghalib.

I have Suraiyya's and Chitra Singh's versions with me. It's great to listen to this duet version by Salim Raza and Noor Jehan. It's glorious in its own brand of sweetness. Thanks to my friend Mr. Jatala for the forward and to jimmynoor68 for the upload.
