  • $200,000,000 spent on luxury

Only a few years back I picked up an old 1975 Sea Ray for a couple hundred bucks. They wanted a ridiculous luxury tax. The old boat's propensity to fall into disrepair at sea hardly made it a luxury

As if they're lacking any degree of royal treatment, they play in obscenely expensive, fancy Leer jets for free & we get to pick up the luxury tab. Even if they were good servants, relative to what they actually are, good, would still be undeserving of even their salary

  • Both political parties are not in business for the country's best interest. They're both working for the elite globalists trying to establish their one-world government. They don't care about your Health Care. The real issue is the government wants to control every facet of your life. This will open the door allow them to tell you what you can eat and drink, and what lifestyle you should be living. You'll all see very soon. Be careful what you wish for. Your own freedom is at stake.

  • Some things are Universal. These things affect everyone equally in the world.

    1. Health of a society.

    2. Environment.

    Common humanity around the world.

  • Life, Liberty, Property.. These are universal rights.

Health Care is not a universal right. It is a need. A good. A RESPONSIBILITY.

Just as food and clothing are.

It is NOT the responsibility of your neighbors to feed, clothe, or take care of you. It IS, however, YOUR responsibility.

If you would like to debate further about why COSTS are high and unaffordable for some, we can.

  • Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness - those are universal rights not "PROPERTY"

Property is a need, a good; therefore it is a responsibility.

Without access to Health Care, there is no LIFE.

Without Consumer choice to select from insurance providers, there is no LIBERTY.

Insurance companies have the liberty to charge astronomical premiums from their customers, but deny coverage to millions of Americans, based on pre-existing conditions. That is an outright FRAUD.

  • First of all PROPERTY is a universal right. Read the The Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It is not a need or a good..

Secondly, Life being a Universal Right means in the regards that you have the right to not have your life taken from you without due process, example being the Death Penalty.

  • One needs to be alive (LIFE) to hold property. Life holds more priority than property.

No Access to health care risks LIFE; therefore, Health insurance is a RIGHT.

  • You're a very ignorant person.. Everybody has ACCESS to Health Care. If a dying person walks into the hospital they are not going to be denied because they don't have money or health insurance.

  • If you do not have access to health insurance, you do not have access to health care.

You will have rationed health care...thanks to health insurance companies.

United States is a Corporate Welfare state, where SICKNESS, Wars and Death are big business (PROFITS).

More SICK = More PROFITS to Insurance & Pharmaceutical corporations.

More Wars = More PROFITS to Defense contractor corporations.

More POLLUTION = More PROFITS to OIL & COAL corporations.

    America owned by Corporations

  • Thanks to insurance companies, you are already paying for the uninsured and the under-insured health insurance in your hard to comprehend insurance bills.

It is hidden in your health insurance premiums and surcharges.

Texas is one of the states that has high uninsured rates in the nation.

  • USA changes its name to United States of Corporations!

  • Thirdly, if it wasn't FOR government regulation, insurance companies could NOT charge astronomical prices.

An example would be how you can't buy insurance across state lines. If you could it would open the door for competition.

An insurance company in Texas could not charge high amounts if they have a competitor in New York who has low costs.

  • Thanks to de-regulation, we have insurance companies like AIG, LEHMAN, JP Morgan all gone bankrupt, all financial giants (too big to fail companies) need FEDs help to prevent the economy from cratering or collapsing.

Thanks to deregulation, the country have high unemployment rates, resulting from risky investments by too big to fail companies.

  • Private Insurance companies have no right to be in existence by swindling consumers with their consumer-deceptive practices. The Government should ban them from providing services.

What is the VALUE of services provided Private Insurance companies, if all they do is deny insurance claims?

UNIVERSAL PUBLIC Insurance OPTION ALL THE WAY!

Insurance companies ate my hard earned money for far too long, NOW IT IS TIME FOR THEM TO EAT THE LAW!

  • I understand your concerns with insurance costing too much. Nobody likes that.

But you are going about a solution in the wrong way. Should it be made possible for citizens to purchase health insurance across state lines costs would be driven way down.

  • "I understand your concerns with insurance costing too much. Nobody likes that."

High Costs, LOW Quality and NO CHOICE SERVICE = PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE.

Again I ask, What is the VALUE of private insurance companies to consumers?

  • High costs are the fault of regulation that prevent the purchase of insurance over state lines.

Low quality WILL be the fault of a federal government takeover of the medical industry.

  • LOW QUALITY = Private doctors prescribing unnecessary surgeries on patients to trick the system.

    uhh.....Physician Malpractice, anyone

Low Quality = Denied Services due to pre-existing conditions.

Low Quality = Insurance company bureaucrats deciding which services are payable and needed.

Low Quality = Long wait to get service, if pre-existing conditions exist.

Low Quality = Arbitrary dropping of coverage by Insurance companies.

  • Private Health Insurance = WORTHLESS PIECE OF CRAP

  • If you hate the Government provided services, don't use it.

That includes, ya'know the services like socialized roads, Socialized Fire departments, Socialized military, 911 services, medicare, medicaid, public schools etc...

  • You are so wrong on this statement. The services you named are not Federal Government services. They are local and state government services.

The only Federal Government service you described is the Military.

Please read the Constitution so you can fully understand the powers of state and federal government and the judicial, legislative, and executive branches.

  • It is the RESPONSIBILITY of the Government to protect the general public from fraud and consumer-deceptive practices, by laying down strict rules, regulations and oversight of private companies.

    De-regulation wont work any more.

  • In this case you are wrong.

As I have stated, if there WASN'T regulation that prohibited the purchase of insurance across state line, prices would drop dramatically.

  • Access to health care is a UNIVERSAL HUMAN RIGHT!

  • This is a very ignorant statement, as every American citizen has access to health care. The only problem is costs.

Some people don't work, therefor they can not afford major health NEEDS. So they go on government programs to help the needy, which we ALREADY HAVE: Medicare, Medicaid.

Some don't want insurance or don't want to pay. That is the risk they take. It is their choice, and should they end up in a big accident, it turns from a choice into a mistake.

  • "It is NOT the responsibility of your neighbors to feed, clothe, or take care of you. It IS, however, YOUR responsibility." - rILEYe104 Then, You have no right to use any publicly or tax-payer funded services. That includes 1. ROADS 2. 9/11 SRVCS 3. FIRE DEPTMNTS 4. MILITARY 5. VA BENEFITS 6. SOCIAL SECURITY, MEDICARE & MEDICAID 07. POLICE 08. PUBLIC SCHOOLS & COLLEGES 09. STUDENT LOANS & GRANTS 10. Municipal Water system, Use bottled water to shower 11. No Labor laws or Unemployment benefits.
  • 12. NO ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION laws, breathe your private air.

    13. No FAA, fly as you please

  • You are making purely ignorant statements now.

The bottom line is Health Care is not a right, just as food and clothing are not rights.

If you want Health Care to be defined as a right, why are you not advocating for food and clothing to be rights? Why should the government not provide needy families with food every day through tax-payer dollars?

  • Food, Clothing, Education should be RIGHTS too.

There was a time in United States when voting was considered as a privilege to white men only, but that changed too as time passed.

Access to Health insurance/ health care will be a RIGHT soon, too.

  • If the regulation was the issue, why didn't the Liberty preaching Republicans solve the issue and provide coverage to millions of under-insured and uninsured Americans?

  • When a epidemic or pandemic breaks out in your community, tell those without insurance that health care is a right, so that their untreated illness can be passed on to you and others.

Access to health care is a HUMAN RIGHT!

  • Just last week the United Nations officially announced that they want the dollar to play a lesser role as the world's reserve currency and want to usher in a global currency that will be managed by a new bank of the world.

They also stated that they "just recently thought of this idea". Anyone who has been concerned with this subject knows it's been speculated for years now. So the UN finally coming out in the open with it and pretending it's a new idea.. Obviously something is about to happen.

  • You know very well John that many of these so called angry protesters were in fact organized by big corporations with much at stake in the outcome. One can easily argue that this kind of staged manifestations are indeed ANTI-democratic. Not recognizing this at all is misleading to say the least.

  • Quoting Thomas Jefferson to justify lies, fear-mongering and unjust practices of Republicans makes me sick!

This is the usual ugly politics that Republicans play to thwart genuine change to happen in this country.

I hope, Americans are smarter to recognize the usual wicked ploys Republicans play for their political convenience.

  • I was angry, when Republicans had billions to borrow to build military complexes in Iraq to prolong the foolish war.

Republicans haven't stopped yet, they are now using same tactics; ie LIES to stop and derail the much needed health care reform in this country.

  • I was angry when the troops came back in body bags from Iraq who fought for a misguided war based on lies.

Republicans had billions to borrow to wage a war based on false pretenses. Now, when President Obama, tries to spend money on issues like fixing the health care system, which Americans care about, Republicans are crying a river of crocodile tears about their "concern" for insurmountable debt for future generations.

    Gimme a break, already!

  • Obama wants to ally with Iran against Russia. Israel wants to bomb Iran. The mobs are working for Israel.

  • this white head dude is a fuckin dork rofl.

  • i agree.

  • i am so disapointed to hear about those congressional jets

  • There not protesting, there disrupting honest citizens who actually do want to learn about the health care reform directly from there elected representatives.
