  • the regualar politician behind him, fat looks like he does not give a fuck and is about to sleep, and he is probably thinking "shut the fuck up"

  • Simply incredible speech.

  • David Cameron: we will never join the euro

Feb-16-2012-- David Cameron defended his government's economic policies.

"The threat to the world economy and to Britain is as serious as in 2008 when world recession loomed. The euro zone is in crisis, the French and the German economies have slowed to a standstill. Even mighty America is questioned about her debts. The only way out of a debt crisis is to deal with your debts."

  • Farage: Globalist Troika Driving Greece Towards Violent Revolution

    Feb-16-2012--European Parliament, Strasbourg,

Speaker: Nigel Farage MEP, Leader of the UK Independence Party (UKIP), Co-President of the 'Europe of Freedom and Democracy' (EFD) Group in the European Parliament

These policies are driving Greece towards a revolution.

They need to be set free. If they don't get the Drachma back you will be responsible for something truly, truly horrible."

  • European Union has destroyed National Democracy

Feb-16-2012--The EU has killed national democracy in Greece, Portugal and each of the 27 EU member states. In Britain the Conservatives, Labour and Lib Dems refuse to let us vote to get our Democracy back through an EU referendum. UKIP are now our only hope.

European Union Lisbon Treaty leadership debates UKIP Nigel Farage Elections Labour Conservative Conservatives Liberal Democrats

    INFO-AWARENESS VIKEN Z KOKOZIAN

  • That house was never great

  • um forgive me for not unterstanding this but whats happening :{

  • If you believe that UKIP is the only hope, then there is no hope...

  • @17Eagle25

    GARBAGE!!!!

  • Dave Cameron is a stupid little bitch

  • Dave Cameron is a stupid little bitch

  • UE, im british get me out of it

  • U.S>E.U

  • GO BABY! I'm whoopin' and hollerin' here in my living room!!!!!

  • I completely agree. I'm Portuguese and I feel powerless when choosing our governors. If this is how the EU is supposed to rule over us, then I don't care about our sovereignty anymore. I'd rather give up our pride as a country and create a one and unified europe, where we all choose the ones ruling over the entire EU, not choosing the face that the ruling unelected elite show to us when imposing their measures and bringing down the morale of a people.

  • The period of the nation-state must come to an end. The EU might be getting rid of "national democracy", but not democracy itself. There is nothing stopping people from voting in European-level elections, and if EU countries decide to surrender more sovereignty to Brussels then their people will simply need to pay more attention to European-level parliament.

  • Take the responsibility and join UKIP.

  • Democracy is a dead fish in 2011, all thanks to the EU. The elites of our world are completely out of control. There will be a world war 3, just wait and see.

  • Fuking Belgians!

  • oh,politicians stop bitching .it's not like you were doing your job before the EU policies.

  • world needs a world government now!!!!!!

  • @Cleaver428 We did have one once, it was called the British Empire, now it's all gone 1984.

  • @Cleaver428 ....and who would run it?? A camel is a horse designed by a comittee......World government would be an even more bloody mess than we have now! World Government would be World dictatorship with a world secret police hunting down and eliminating anyone who opposed the System! World Government would be, by it's very nature, a fascist, totalitarian dictatorship which, in order to function efficiently, would have to brutally supress any opposition or free questioning.

  • @ha6ni6el6 exactly thats what we need to progress

  • @Cleaver428 Well, you might like to live under such a system, but a world government/dictatorship would be the EU system carried to extremes-all laws dictated by a Central Comittee sitting in some obscure Supreme Praesidium, appointing each other to top jobs whilst in-fighting amongst each other for power & influence. there would be no political parties allowed apart from the World Unity Party, for whom we could all vote from a list of candidates, all true Party Comrades saying the same thing!!

  • @Cleaver428 Since the Party is always right, what the Party thinks, the people think Any opposition to,or questioning of the Party program automatically condemns any critic as an Enemy of the People to be arrested & detained for "re-education" in centres where their attitude would be "corrected"! Once reeducated, they would appear before a Peoples' Court, where they would tearfully admit to their crimes, after which they would disappear! A Soviet dissident "In my past I've seen your future"!

  • If you believe in democracy, a eurosceptic is the ONLY party you can vote for. A vote for any other party is a contradiction, it's a vote to REMOVE your vote, a choice to HAVE NO CHOICE. Wake the fuck up.

  • VOTE UKIP

  • 'But why not give people a choice? (A national referendum on EU membership)

'Because I think it's the wrong answer for Britain'

Cameron is an arrogant prick. It's doesn't matter what he thinks. It's the people who get to choose. Give us a referendum-NOW

  • @TheFestivelights "Cameron is an arrogant prick. It's doesn't matter what he thinks. It's the people who get to choose. Give us a referendum-NOW "

Cameron aside, the consequences of being part of, or not being part of, the EU are far beyond what the man in the street can have an educated opinion about. Referendums are a crappy way to deal with such questions. It's much better to have professional politicians get to grips with it and let people vote for parties offering ideological packages.

  • @TheFestivelights That is, assuming you don't want a political system with a much slower pace of change, such as Switzerland, where pretty much anyone can demand a referendum about anything they don't agree with. There are arguments for those systems as well, but most countries don't opt for giving minorities in a democracy that much veto power. Presumably due to the practical consideration that it's generally better to get things done than having centuries of political stalemates.

  • @Gnomefro Nonetheless, whatever your argument for the EU, you cannot object to us having the right to write our own laws, as we have done for centuries. What is your objection?

  • This house was great when it created a 200% debt on our GDP compared to 99% of debt by GDP the US has, this house was great long time ago and should STFU.

  • @OldSchoolSkill We have seen the systems that don't work in history, so yes, experimenting on a voluntary basis would be the only way, but noooooo the powers that be don't want that, they want the monopoly on the use of force they hold to persist.

  • I'm pro trade union, nay EU-state

  • The European Union is nothing more than a dictatorship and EMU is nothing more than a currency death trap. Fuck them both.

  • upskirt downblouse double whammy. nice

  • This guy makes a compelling argument. We see that here in America with states' sovereignty suffering (or taking the back seat, at a minimum) to the whims of the Washington elite, the power brokers and the lobbyists.

  • The whips are a disgrace, the MP's were not allowed to vote the way they wanted or the way the people they represent wanted.

The Commons is a waste of time and it is a waste time to vote Labour, Tory or Lib Dem. They are all just one party being told what to do by Brussels.

    Vote UKIP, I will be.

  • people are sheep, plain and simple.. apathy will destroy all nations and it will be left to the politicians to finish the job. if you want austerity, start with their wages and pension plans.

  • Pleasantly surprised by seeing John Redwood say all that, good on him.

  • Comment removed

  • I'm Conservative, but David Cameron needs to go. What does he think he's doing, refusing a referendum? This is democracy, the leaders must not put their interests before the people or they no longer represent the electorate.

IMr Cameron, i's not a matter of whather 'it's the right choice for Britain.' The people must decide.

The EU was a bad idea from the start. Now democracy is being sacrificed to appease the interests of a political élite.

    God Save the Queen.

  • Who is this guy he is a truth speaking bad ass....how politics should be, you can feel revolution is starting over here its in its infancy but is certain if politicians continue to allow banking to be private, laws to be made in other countries and to not listen to the people(bring on, on line democracy)

  • I saw that Cameron clip when it was live. I couldn't believe it, what a traitor.

It doesn't matter what YOU think Cameron, because believe it or not, you work for us. UKIP 2015.

  • @ExtremeBogom I doubt Cameron will last even to then, I can see riots happening next year forcing the current government out and voting a new.

  • Redwood was on course for greatness, but if i recall he made a few blunders when he first entered parliament, like when he gave an interview saying "...the NHS is finished and should be privatised...", which ironically years later they are now doing thru the back door. Then standing against Major over an EU situation again pretty much sidelined him. Great speech, without refering to his notes as well!

  • I'm gob-smacked!

    Watch that Cameron clip again!

  • Great speech from Redwood. I would suggest at the next election if your local MP happens to be one of the 81 Tory rebels than vote for them. If not vote UKIP.

  • WOW

  • love it

  • Yeah nigel farage is the best! He always says how the situation is and he is right!

  • I will never vote for any of the 3 main parties again, they are all taking instructions from the elites behind the scenes so nothing will change. Everybody should vote for UKIP, Nigel Farage is the only one with any guts.

  • Never thought I'd find myself agreeing with John Redwood but he's absolutely correct. Our parliamentary sovereignty, and therefore democracy, is being undermined by an unelected elite. I am pro Europe, but anti-EU.

  • Free theatre doesn't get any better.

  • Three cheers for John Redwood's speech, but would these still be his expressed views if he was Tory PM? I doubt it.

  • @I85PIES I thought John Redwood was a tory mp? He should switch to UKIP.

  • Watched this whole debate + hadn't realised what an excellent speech it was. Only person who could have bettered it was Steve Baker MP, who has publically stated he wants the EU 'abolished'...

  • @tdp1909

Please post a link to the whole thing - I'd like to listen to it.

    :)

  • @continuityofliberty Unfortunately watched 5 hrs of it live on BBC (cos that's how sad I am). In truth, the best bits were the Jacob Rees-Mogg speech and this one...

  • What a great parliamentary speech! How come we don't hear politicians speaking like that on a regular basis? Only, when the shits about to hit the fan.

  • Another MP that should join UKIP immediately.

  • That was brilliant.

  • Ukip needs to broaden its policies to make it a more respectable party

  • @MrTolleMolle You obviously have no idea what you are talking about, as UKIP created a manifesto for the last general election, with a wealth of policies.

  • @HuwReesMusic what like bringing back the UK theme on BBC radio 4 and using Pullman trains on the railway? Hardly sensible policy

  • @MrTolleMolle do you not think that it might be a good thing if trains that operate in the UK were actually manufactured in the UK? very sensible policy.

  • @MrTolleMolle Let's see. UKIP Policies: Get out of Europe, Devolve power to local communities. Robust Defence and minimise regulation and allow the free market to function. What other policies are you talking about?

  • Who wants democracy anyway, it is a tool used to control the people. I want freedom. They are not the same thing.

I support UKIP as a stepping stone. I want to hear more from Nigel on his is libertarian views.

I am Scottish but Ron Paul is my president.

  • Ladies and Gentlemen, you better listen or you will face a revolution, the riots were just a start. STOP THE EU !!!!

  • The mighty Redwood!

  • All brains and all humility describes John Redwood. He saw right through Tony Blair and New Labour sham when the country was madly in love with both of them, but the gimlet eyed right-wing nutter was too bashful and too unpopular to be listened to. Annoyingly, he is always proven to be accurate in his judgement of economic matters in the end.

  • what a bunch of sold out rats all around him

Any1 interested in Redwood on YT should check his channel: PANASSET

  • Rothschild Agent.

John Redwood was was funded by the Rothschilds when he was put up against John Major for the leadership challenge scam, in order to purge the euro-sceptics out of the Conservative party.

  • Wanna see a story about democracy watch Weekend at Bernies

  • Democracy is a broken concept infiltrated by the rich to carry out their agendas. The people don't have a horse in the race, they've all been payed off .All thats left is the perception of democracy for narrow minded consumers biting at a media carrot at election time. The debt is unpayable as planned and no amount of cuts will change a thing but alter a few numbers on a computer screen of a central bank that can just type in and create whatever amount of money they wish taxing us all . Broken

  • David Cameron is a traitor.

  • John Redwood, this will be the next VIP Con. to switch to UKIP, which all in all is great, ´cos that will raise the profile up again, and at the end of the day, the one policy party will be realised as the everything/meaning of UK life policy party.

  • Which Con man is this....name anyone?

  • @sinclair61 John Redwood.

  • @Ohyewildthong thanks, you were quick man.

  • i declare total anarchy., fuck government fuck corporations fuck banks, fuck democracy too T_T hitler started with an democracy yeey long live the king and queen whom loves to destroy society, and loves poverty and artificially created poverty by draconian laws T_T

  • @L0cAlEconomy leave the queen out of this she's our ticket out of thus e.u if the people get behind her.Read the law of the land the E.U is illegal under our Constitutional Monarchy but she can only act by the will of the people she swore a oath to the people bu tshe can't get involved in politics unless the people call for her and then she can sack the whole government

  • @infidel1978 - the queen does not give a hoot - if she did she would do something

  • @PHONEYPOLITICS She is not allowed too she can't get involved in politics unless the people call for the monarch .The Monarch only has power with the people he can sack the whole government if the people want it

  • @infidel1978 she has been written to, by registered mail, hundreds of times, pointing out the treason and asking her to correct the situation. Some writers have specified a time by which it needs to be done (per the legal bs) as yet she has done F. All. PP is right, she doesn't give one at all.

  • @lifeformalien Thanks to politicians the queen can only do F all.

  • @MrGilles1990 I'm aware that it's been all down hill since the reforms in 1911 but she made an oath on her coronation which she has obviously abandoned by her compliance. It is possible for any individual, including a monarch, to not comply, is it not? I'm certainly not letting the politicians like the constitution subverting war criminal Blair off the hook, but she had a role, she failed to enact it, her failure not the politicians, their crimes are another kettle.

  • @lifeformalien But if she were to act, it would have seemed to be partisan, and the Queen has to be "non-partisan" I am sure she would have wanted to nail Blair after what he did to her, but stupid people actually did support the interventionist wars and their was quite a big anti-war movement so she could not have acted.

  • @lifeformalien Her oath was to defend the laws of the land. The Petition (and Bill) of Rights clearly says no foreign prince, potentate etc. shall have any power in this realm. Her signing of the Treaty of Rome was in direct contravention of that Petition (and Bill), breaking her oath. Her duty was to refuse to sign that Treaty, no matter what shenanigans the politicos decided (or post-legislative vote for that matter).

As for wars - she commands the forces, she could call them back right now.

  • @MrGilles1990 The Monarchy is in on it, don't worry, they are chumps of the Rothschild family, and attend Bilderberg. Don't think for a second they're nice people, they don't give a crap about the people, only themselves.

  • @Baldwynmayhem They attend the bilderberg meetings? have you any proof of this?.

How cant the monarchy be on anything since it's a form of government? it's like saying communism is in on it.

  • @MrGilles1990 yeah I do actually, type in "Bilderberg attendees" in google and have a nice hard long read of the names who have been recently. The Bilderberg group was set up in the 50s by Monarchy and big corporations. Only a few have bothered to dare hang out and take pictures and record what they can. Attendees lists have been sent to the likes of Jim Tucker etc from insiders. I never say anything without having anything to back my story up.

  • @PHONEYPOLITICS She can't do anything, thanks to politicians.

  • David Cameron you have failed democracy.

  • @MrValzen. So have our American politicians.

  • @MrValzen dont u mean "iron clad dave"

  • Hear Hear !!

  • @SilverStarEyes Here here!

  • yeahhhhh
