this might sound like a strange question, but can you play board games with people online? is it possible to play this type of game online, do people do it? i guess you would have to trust that they are honest with dice rolling...but it seems possible. or am i wrong. sorry, i am a video gamer, i've never played board games but i would like to play this game, but i would not find anyone to play with. :-( is there any community that plays these games online, does anyone know...where do i go?
Man, I have to commend on a great job. At least as far as your confidence in speaking and explanation of the game. Very good job. I hope I can do as well in my reviews, which I'm working on now.
Unfortunately, as we all know, the video quality is terrible. But honestly, I don't know that it really matters since your content is so good. You answered EVERY question I had about this game. GOOD JOB!
Keep in mind though that for folks who are not avid wargamers, this game is in no way simple
I also noticed that the videos are getting better. The sounds seems better, there are more close-ups of the game, and there even was a tiny example of how the units on the board look like (I want more of that! =)
Good job and I am looking forward to your next review.
Great review Joe! I love Conflict of Heroes: Awakening the Bear, and look forward to trying Storms of Steel next. I really like the sound quality of this review, not sure if you've changed anything, but the sound was of very good quality.
I prefer this review in some ways to your last, although I would like a little more preparation in terms of showing pieces. I feel like you're bored even telling me about the components! Why not just focus on the components you like/don't like the least and then just "skim through" the others. e.g. we all know what a cheat sheet is! "good" is enough!
Also, why do you tell me at 5:10 that I should really watch your other video? I would really have liked to have known this 5 minutes ago!
These games are very similar and I just use the first part to compare the two games. I refer to the AotB video review to help those who have never heard of the CoH games.
The last part of this review just gives my opinion on this version and my thoughts.

Nevermind, I see on their website it's got a 60 minute playtime... assuming that's accurate.

I've played small missions in around 30 min. Large battles will take longer.

Did you gain weight Joe? Can you say SHUT THE DOOR just like Tom did?

Yay! A new Steadman review!
You don't sound bored to me at all... maybe just a bit rushed cause of the 10min limit on vids here.
This game and its previous relative are very tempting for me... I'm easily pulled in by the nice graphics and components.
Good review...
How long is an average game of this going to take to play?
