To me that was an insult. Democracy is not my favorite system of government, far from it. I'm a big fan of communism, the only problem with that system is that the leaders are given too much power, and power corrupts. I only would choose democracy for a newly formed government for two reasons: 1. It is a good way for a government to make enough money to support itself while still allowing the people the freedoms they desire.

Saddam killed around 80,000 to 100,000 people in his local wars in Iraq in 30 years.
The US has killed over 300,000 in 5 years, that means we are killing 6 times as many people per day as Saddam, happy.
You can add the 1 million we killed with sanctions in the last 10 years as well if you like.
The US only fights with farmers and the poor countries, have a go with Korea of you think your hard enough.

What he said is true, the middle east isn't the main source of oil for America. The real reason America is in the middle east is because America is ridiculously christian, and obsessed with Israel. Religion is really what's F'in up the world. Religious people should stop killing eachother.

Invasion of Iraq was definately not religious. Zionists would have accepted a hope in lands the United Kingdom occupied, Argentina or Palestine. The UK had invaded Iraq (the real reason for World War I) before and giving the Zionists a state in Palestine was a strategy to place an ally in the region. Minutes if not seconds after Israel declared a state the United States recognized the state. I'm not saying conspiracy...but it's not beyond our government.
