Bumbry was a great singer! Hard working and dedicated to her art and skilled in her craft. She took risk from driving high speed auto's to a high stakes career that she gambled on by moving into the Soprano Fach when everyone was saying oh just be a Mezzo! She follwd er heart andher dreams and gave her all to her art and to her audiences and lost precious liitle vocal beauty or technical skill over the decades. She was also a hell of an actress.Brava!
