@tmx235 Thanks for your comment. The 1994/1995 live versions are closer to the studio version, you may want to check these out from the Both Sides tour in Argentina or Chile.
Is this the show in Dusseldorf on 13 november 2005???? I was there at that show, but I don't know for sure ore this video is from that date. Someone please help!
I can remember seeing this in Sydney in the 90's. The start was fantastic, lights came crashing from the stage roof, resembling the lights and sirens used by police mixed with a virtual sonic boom over some sort of horn -certainly got your attention!!
This is great!!! Do you know where this clip was filmed? Also, can you tell me if any extra songs like 'Misunderstanding' or 'Invisible Touch' were peformed in the Wembley Stadium shows?
Hey there. This clip is from the Talinn broadcast. I am not sure which songs were played during the Wembley shows, what I do know is that "We Wait And We Wonder" and "Invisible Touch" have always been played together in the setlists if included. Misunderstanding was exclusivly for American audience who like the song better than the European audience.
@mbilbao20 We Wait And We Wonder was never performed in Paris, it replaced "No Way Out" during later shows. I would never upload a Paris performance here either as it's official material and therefor illegal.
the song's music reflects the marching music of para military organisations in Northern Ireland (the marching drum beat). The earlier comment was correct - the song is not explicitly anti any organisation, however, it is clear that it is anti terrorism, especially that found in N.I. & the U.K. in 70's-90's.
@olivergraham1 yeah, you can use this song on your own life, we wait and... we wonder.............. but how long?.... this is a "wake up call" against the things are wrong and the system.
The song is not related to England, this is about an Irish terror organisation with religious background. You could consider them the Taliban of Ireland, but they don't exist any more.
This song is not related to an Irish terror organisation. Its about the daily threat of terrorism that was hanging over Britain in the early 90's. The lyrics don't mention any organisation or nationalty.
Oh geez, I am going to get flamed for this, but I swear the keyboard sounds just like that on Pete's 'Biko'. Doesn't it? I guess that it's supposed to sound like pipes in both cases.
What a marvellous song by Phil Collins, with talented musicians like Leland Sklar & Chester Thompson. Simply the best in term of musicians and chorists. It's a pity we don't have any live shows from Phil Collins, these days. Long live PHIL.
can't believe how rare this is! now i need to find misunderstanding - another awesome performance that didn't make it to the DVD for some reason. thanks for posting.
tu más... mira que encontrar un video de phil con 59 visitas nada más... y encima no cometes ni un error en tu frase en ingles pero por si acaso pides perdon!!! jajajajajaja buenisimo
Beautiful song...Love it..

@saffi01
This was played at European shows as well. I was at Glasgow in Nov 2005 and this and invisible were both played, was so happy!
and the version of invisble touch had the proper version, with the F word included :P

Have to disagree there - it's okay but I prefer the energy/better drumming of the Argentina '95 version also here on YouTube.
