There's nothing wrong with 3D games, they're fun. Its just instead of focusing on game play, music, arcade action, and theme all the effort goes into the CGI. I'll be playing modern WareFare & I'm running around shooting my brains out and my friend is like look how realistic the grass is after an explosion! I'm like dude the hell u talking about I never notice anything like that.

Agh, every time I play X-Men on PS3 and have to deal with the crappy emulated versions of these tracks, a piece of me dies. The fact is, even in the loud arcade, we could still hear the most important parts of the tracks, which have either been muffled or completely lost in the emulated version (for both MAME and PS3/XBox/wretched iPhone version). We shall never forget these epic tracks in their TRUE form!

i don't think you understand. the thing is that throughout the years, the arcade industry's been slowly fading away due to the fact that not too many people are interested in today's games, and back in the late 80s and early 1990s most arcades were notable for having genres with popular licenses. and with that, the fact of the matter is that though it is new, JLA arcade is bringing the beat 'em up genre back to where it made it's mark.

@jasonkcmo @jasonkcmo I disagree! I think the talent to do things now is better than ever, and has evolved to levels that will continue to grow from a technological and entertainment standpoint. That doesn't mean it's not fun reminisce about the past. But, we should enjoy the past, and LOVE for today, because we can do so many things today that would have been impossible or unthinkable 20 years ago! There are NO limits as to what we can accomplish!
