Roy did not fight Marcus. Roy fought McSweeny. Roy caught McSweeny with a hard shot that rocked him and then took him down and effectively used leverage to put him away. After the fight McSweeny's face was dripping with bloood....so yeah. It's actually pretty easy to see why he was impressed with Roy's performance.

Oh and Brenden Shaub was the one that fought and defeated Marcus.

Very little you can do about it unless you undergo surgery insert a pad. His arthritis is very minor and would not affect his performance on the show anymore than his performance against houston. He was not crippled on tuf. he simply pussied out because he knew if he lost again he'd never fight in the UFC. i know all about arthritis because I am a physician.

There are many treatments for arthritis in general, but not many effective treatments nor any cures for crippling arthritis like you said he had. Tell me how was his knee "treated" so that he can fight houston now, but not on TUF? surgery? cortisone shot? what?

he had some degeneration in the cartilage in one knee. He may have some mild discomfort like soreness, but his arthritis is very mild and did not hamper his movements at all IMPO.

I will not know 100% unless he was my patient. However, i heard what the doctor said, i saw the x-ray, his complaints, and his gait(walk) was fine. he was medically cleared to fight by his doctor but he decided not to.

Only sprained? They had Kimbo see a Doctor specializing in knees. The guy said Kimbo's cartilage had completely worn away and was not coming back.

However, there were treatments avaiable for Kimbo to help deal with the pain. Treatments, Kimbo turned down because he was scared of needles. In reality though his real reason for not accepting the fight was because he was afraid to lose because he felt he needed more training.

Matt Mitrione made it seem like he wasn't going to fight. As a result Dana White gives a speech to the rest of the fighters. It's implied that the goal was to get one of them (Kimbo specifically) to step up and if they did Dana would have stolen Mitrione's shot.

His speech failed so Dana goes one step further. He goes to Kimbo and talks with him one on one. Kimbo then backs down citing a knee injury (which he's stuck with for life btw because he's afraid of needles.)
