something about this particular performance of this particular song (carrie's commentary, her slight puffyness, like she's been crying, corin's somber expression) as well as many of their other songs-- makes me think that the tension and relationship problems between corin and carrie did not end with "One More Hour."

definitely. more specifically: the hot rock (that's a definite), burn don't freeze, memorize your lines, living in exile...

maybe even funeral song. in general, The Hot Rock as an album seemed really loaded with that kind of tension.
