It's not from personal choice. I use the vehicles people request, and loads of people request the Sprinter, not sure why, probably because it's hard to unlock

white wheel just means u are using the wii wheel.when u have a gold wheel that means u have raced a 100 races and used the wii wheel 50% of the time.
