If zombies do attack you and your "survival bag" are going to be the first one dead because you have no firearms and your pack has to be carried by a semi-truck.
looks real good, you've done some home work, what about a stainless water bottle so you can boil water in the can, and what about a .22 pistol and a few hundred rounds of ammo,
and what about a wind up multi ban radio, a topo map of your area, some water filters, maybe
some energy bars, some meds, a good pair of long pants not jeans, maybe a couple of long
sleeve shirts, a signal mirror, a couple rolls of old coins, meeting places for dear friends at future dates., well i could go on and on.
All I really need is a Bowie Knife with a skull breaker and a spiked knuckle duster, I would also like paralyzing poison what I can get from herbs around my town, for the knuckles, other then that a bow/crossbow would be good for ranged and sneak, a spray making me smell like nothing/not meat, and a fire arm, something powerful but balanced and accurate, definitely not a shotty, a throwing weapon would be a harpoon knife, got two from a fisherman near the bank, kinda like double blades you know.
Zombies are not real. In a natural disaster you will likely have either evacuated or be stranded wherever you live, shelter not mobility would be the focus. In a nuclear attack you wouldn't be able to go outside in the fallout for at least a month, rendering the entire mobility focus of the kit useless. A virus outbreak is the best use for such a kit but its likely you'll be infected before you even realized it might be wise to head to the hills especially if it gets into the water supply.
@KrazyKommieKiller Sure, zombies may be just in movies...but tell me this, a bio chemical warfare is happening and people get infected and don't die, you're telling me zombies couldn't indeed be real if something like that were to occur? Start paying more attention and look at the big picture. In the last couple years they entertainment / movie industry has been jam packing our brains with alien & zombie propaganda. And there is no needed for condom to have only one usage. You can use it for many various things for example... it is good weapon (not a joke), protector against mosquitos and it is able to hold air should you need to swimm (i doubt zombies can swimm).

you def need to work on your pack. You have too much duplicates of stuff that you only need 1 of. 3 of practically the same knife gets you nowhere that scythe thing...get rid of it. You don't need a hatchet and an ax head. You have an awful lot of heavy duty rope, use some 550. expand on the first aid kit. Needle nose with that leatherman is also redundant.
you should pack light you dont need all those knives and cook ware plus your fist aid kit is small one combat knife a machete crowbar rifle and pistol is kind of all you need, and aslo fire stuff. you wont even be able to run with all that stuff
I agree, too much junk. You want to be light and fast. But I will defend the E-Tool. Sharpen one side of it with a file and go at 'em WWI style. Ditch the homemade scimitar and the shit alloy gerber hatchet. Also learn your rigging; pic one book to bring as reference. Also that issue of backpacker is a very good reference.

In the end even these 3-4 items can be made in the wild if you know what you're doing. So you're still only relying on your own skill set. Shovels are EXTREMELY useful. Saves calories and time, build shelter, traps, bury waste,food etc...

@201estrada Guns aren't always the answer, most of the time you would want to use a knife or long machete, It's quiet, easy to maintain, and you dont have to clean it. If you fire a shot hundreds of other zombies would here

You're about ready for anything fro a bad storm to all hell breaking out in a hundred ways. try to get hold of a bigger first aid kit and some bleach. For the zombies add some welders gloves and a heavy leather jacket to protect from bites....actually those are good for any occasion. Good gloves are about as useful as a good knife.
here's the thing shotguns aren't accurate they are simply useful for stopping power a 9mm is easy to use but lacks stopping power
best combo is rifles in general but a semi-auto rifle is most effective (PSG-1 for example) and a 44. magnum less kick almost same stopping power as 45. curved samurai katana, a military issue machette or a double edged sword. CQC use a trench spike/knife.
I'm soon getting a G3 Battle Rifle and a shotgun but I'm not sure what shotgun to get. Please help on what shotgun would be MOST reliable. (Oh and 1 thing I NEVER see in a zombie survival kit is a roll of duct tape)

Why does nobody include bug spray? Mosquitos aren't not going to bite zombies, and I for one am NOT going to become a zombie from a damn bug bite. Plus when everyone's stocking their safehouses the last thing they are gong to buy is bug repellent and RAID.

Bro like you don't need half the shit or most of the shit you have here all you need is food,water,flashlight with extra batteries, a couple of guns with plenty of ammo, a sword or machete maybe even a bat or all of those close range weapons I don't think a first aid kit would help against getting bit by a zombie but I guess it's always good to have for little cuts and what not. And well yeah a little more small stuff needed as well but I'm not gonna mention all those! Hah

@201estrada Guns aren't always the answer, most of the time you would want to use a knife or long machete, It's quiet, easy to maintain, and you dont have to clean it. If you fire a shot hundreds of other zombies would here

too much for a one-person zombie team,too much to carry for one person to carry for a 2+ survival team.honestly,its a good hobby,but its a little too much for one person.just like almost every zombie survival kit ive seen on here or anywhere else.jeez...its still very very good and well planned out.just no rations,no spare clothes,no sidearm/main gun(if needed,i prefer silent and quick if i have to solo),and not really any first-aid.

You're about ready for anything fro a bad storm to all hell breaking out in a hundred ways. try to get hold of a bigger first aid kit and some bleach. For the zombies add some welders gloves and a heavy leather jacket to protect from bites....actually those are good for any occasion. Good gloves are about as useful as a good knife.

here's the thing shotguns aren't accurate they are simply useful for stopping power a 9mm is easy to use but lacks stopping power
best combo is rifles in general but a semi-auto rifle is most effective (PSG-1 for example) and a 44. magnum less kick almost same stopping power as 45. curved samurai katana, a military issue machette or a double edged sword. CQC use a trench spike/knife.

i agree with the knives but u can never b to sure. whistles can be useful in some situations. and iodine is a neccesity. u drink contaiminated water and ur gone. the only thing u need is a gun
