there's a spiritual inner deepness to this that only makes sense to those who it matters to. The HG classroom were people whose souls were reincarnated through many lifetimes, but in one lifetime had been a disciple or came into contact with Jesus. "Do" was the reincarnation the mind/soul/knowledge that was within the person known as Jesus. I'm open to all discussion about the teachings and message brought by Ti and Do and Heaven's Gate.

Can someone explain to me the "Ody" thing with the names again? So did they just all give themselves new names with that on it or what?

@GratefulVince the students of the Heaven's Gate classroom/ school of thought were given the "Ody" names as meaning something like "little one" or "junior" or "student". It could mean many things but it was added to the students names as a token of love and connectedness. The first part of their classroom name spelled without the vowels. In this video, STLODY, the person's human name no longer matters, as his new name is "Steel", given to him by his teacher Do as meaning strong as steel.
