I think that's when he actually got worse than ever.. He only got better and better in 1977, but then, he started fucking up.. Just listen to the Dallas gig, his amp wasn't even turned on! But yeah, he actually played quite good during this gig!! Of course, he still played it Sid-style, if you know what I mean.. But he did a good job that night!

I don't own the audio bootleg, only the video recording, so I can't say anything about those first songs, as they're not on the dvd. But yeah, you're right, at some points there are some small hints of a bass buried deep in the mix. Had to change to a certain sound on the dvd's menu to hear any of it, but yeah..

yes pretty clear John wrote GSTQ and Anarchy. John has some details of when he wrote GSTQ in Rotten. Glen said in his own book (I was a Teenage Sex Pistol) he hated the rhyme of antichrist and anarchist. apparently they did collaborate quite a bit in the beginning, but from what I gather, Pretty Vacant was the only song that Glen did most all on his own (actually in Glen's book he says John changed a few lyrics for the better. believe it was stuff yr cheap comments, we know what we feel

actualy glen did write some of gstq, just watched a vh1 special in 7 ages of rock and rotten said word for word " glen and me wrote some of gstq and then he left and it became our anthem for the people " glen also wrote pretty vacant,most of submission,i wanna be me,problems..and he wrote almost every guitar riff then showed jonesy,...if you listen to the gstq demo those are matlocks lyrics and order of how the song was witch i think the demo is alot better..nvmtb was to edited! haha

In book John said "I had written the words down while the band were in the corner arguing...When I finally finished the words Glen was furious. He thought it was appalling and a silly idea for a song." abt gstq he said - "I wrote gstq all in one piece. I remember being really precious about the words". Those are the main two I tend to think John wrote full, of all -
