This is a stupid question, but I noticed that you use a strumming style similar to what I've heard from Colin Hay. It sounds amazing, almost like you emphasize a dulled string every chord? It's a really great sound. Just wondering exactly how to do it.

Not sure exactly, but sometimes I will mute the strings with the palm of my strumming hand to emphasize a beat.
