I suppose driving a stick in the ground and "gruntin'" it with a file of some sort piques the curiosity of the worms and brings them terrestrial to see what's up?

When I was a kid, my grannie use to take me to do this when we went fishing, but she called it "snoring" because of the sound. We would use two stakes 12 feet apart and we would rub the stakes with bricks. As a kid it was lots of fun.
Nice video! when I was 15 years old I went with a old man that showed me how to do this. He just sawed down a small tree 2 or 3 inches leaving a stump about 18 to 24 inches high. took a dull hand saw and sawed on the top of the stump. we got worms all around the stump out to 20 to 25 feet out from the stump. I am now 49 years old now. I have got many worms from doing this. The key is knowing where to get them. I live in north Alabama we have these worms. We call them fiddle worms.
because , hes a grunter man its in his blood man he grunts like its his soul man come on get the picture woot grunt grunt grunt , ya!!@ i just made 2,000 today on grunting
I played in these woods when I was a little girl in fact chasing this guy, my cousin. How wild he created an income out of it. Salute to you both love you guys!
Well come on out to Sopchoppy April 11th early. We have Worm Grunters Field hot with worms and ready for gruntin plus about 70 other vendors from around the region. Even rumor of the first WORM EATIN contest is buzzing about.
It is the 9th annual festival--great tee shirts too
Where in the world do you get those worm grunting tools? I would love to do that , I am an old man that really needs a new hobby. I could make my own grunting tools if I knew what I needed to make one.
This video is just really, really Great! I've told so many people about worm grunting, and they wouldn't ever really know, until now. They just look at my shirt and can't even imagine! You really can't find better people in this world then the Revell's aswell. I haven't been able to make the Festival since 05' and I can't wait till I can get back! Manuel W.
I'm jealous! It sounds like a very fullfilling lifestyle; close to the earth and seems quite a close marriage; you are very rich indeed!

If you put a pole in the ground of New Jersey and grunt it, toxic waste and hypodermic needles will come to the surface

Wow...this is the first time I see how people collect earthwarms. Cool. I learned something! The music is great, too. Thanks for sharing.

This is a good video, well done, but the soundtrack makes no sense with it though. Is this Worm Gruntin or Fear Factor?
