Yngwie Malmsteen - Fender Nylon String Stratocaster

how can sombody so gifted be so deaf ?(maybe being paid lots of money by fender) there is no comparison to the sound of a hollow body nylon string classical guitar played with "FINGERS" and "NAILS" as god intended. plastic pick on nylon over a solid body is sacrilegious. Its like playing Purple Haze with a Ukelele.....A JOKE.

Sounds like crap. Piezos sound bad to begin with, but overdriving them just makes ugly clipping. And with a pick? Doesn''t sound classical at all. It actually sounds like less sustain than a real guitar. And solidbodies are good for sustain. Not this one.

That is very nice, my old friend. Its been a long time. I think the last time we spoke was at the Button South, but you are still killin it! You are without a doubt, the Master. I see people play your style and they forget that even in a fast run, each note has to be respected and treated with heart. I still watch the live in Leningrad video you recommended. It should be a law that any guitarist should see that. The "Red House" version is ridiculous.

Im speechless over this guitar. Nylon string electric with a whammy bar.. And a genuine Fender. imagine playing a solo with; slight blues distortion and a wahwah pedal, doing crazy bends, scale runs with double stops, insane whammy dives, or even some tapping! Then a quick change for an ending using arpeggios over corresponding CAGED chords swapping with positons and adding 6's, 7th's, 9th's and fifths while trying to throw a couple of sus's inbetween with a clean sound!! Oh Yeah!!! peace

@ScavengerZedic Yeah that would be hella cool, but i dont think crazy bends would work very well, nylon strings arent tight enough. wonder if the tremolo actually works.... btw you should check out joe stump, he has a double neck guitar that has one neck with nylons like this and one neck is a standard yjm strat !!!!
