Having lived in Canada for the past 7 years, I have to tell you, this place sucks. The weather, the government, the "justice" system, the infrastructure, the oligopolistic corporations running the whole country, the taxes, the healthcare, so on and on it goes. The ONLY good thing up here are the people for the most part, but that can only take it so far. I would jump in a split heartbeat to move to the USA. I can't. My family are all Canadian's and the wife does not want to move back to the US.

German guy here, I lived in Korea for 4 years while growing up, Canada for 2 while I was going to university, and america for 2 while I was also going to university.

Honestly Canada and America are pretty much the same thing.

Canada's healthcare is a joke, along with your education. My son skipped 3 grades and it was still too easy for him and he is only on the lower ratings of students in Germany. You guys all try not to be American but your culture is pretty much the same.
