(Vietnam) – The SG embassy in Vietnam has given scholarships worth a total of US$702,000 to 6 students in Hanoi n Ho Chi Minh City.
They will fly to Singapore frm July 27 to follow 3 or 4-year academic programmes at NUS, NTU n SMU.The full scholarships r provided by OUR SG Govt. Each student will receive US$117,000, which incl school fees, return plane ticket n daily living expenses!!
my friend who works in a bank told me there are good jobs that singaporeans are not willing to take. for example there are night shift jobs in banking that pays well but is tough becos it is permanent night shift and mentally taxing. the banks are hiring indian nationals who are willing to slog for one to two years make a bundle and quit.
As a foreigner in Singapore, it's pretty simple. Singapore is hiring the civilian version of mercenaries. Mercs are very common, historically, can be of very high skills and is much cheaper than home troops. At the same time, they are in just for the money. There is no sense of loyalty or nationalism or any of that shit.
It doesn't really matter what is right or wrong. The bottom line is: do you want to hire mercenaries?
We need to follow Japan's way,they didn't import foreigners like Singapore did, but their people still survive and are more happier than Singaporeans.These importing of foreigners are just following the globalization garbage which will destroy a country's heritage.
