  • i Prefer the battery in a sock

  • Thank you. I'll have to check that out. I am already subscribed.

  • Sick monkey fists bro. I make a lot of them. They are def fun but can you check out my video on your design and maybe help me out. I watched your vid so many times trying to tie the manrope knot on the standing end and can't get it right. You seem to be the only one with a vid on tying it like that on a standing end. Any tips?

  • @VanceRhodes It is also in books; I learned from Gibson's book of knots and splices; not in print but you can usually get PDF on scribd

BTW if you like videos please click the "share" button on videos, subscribe to my kevingg2000 youtube channel, and share to your social networks, follow me on twitter, like my facebook page etc. thanks again!

  • kevingg2000 hi where can i get a steelball from, no usa sites please cause im from denmark..

  • @macemanDK90 I only get from a USA site, don't know any overseas sorry

  • @macemanDK90: Try industrial supply company, any large ball bearing will work.

  • @macemanDK90

Are you still looking for one of these?

I know someone who makes them here where I live.

If you want one...maybe he will make you one if you pay for it.

  • Hello the king of monkeys fist you shoud sell them lol plz

  • Send me one for free and I will modify it to protrude blades.

  • hahaha kevin i was just being a smart ass. Quoting from enter the dragon. I like your videos and have learned from them. Keep up the great work! :)

  • Bottles dont hit back

  • @foxhound1976 video was just to show the relative impact of the given size steel ball insert. based on what I saw, an assailant wouldn't hit back either after getting a whack with this thing

  • @kevingg2000 I bet you that a really determined assailant won't let you swing that thing around before putting a bullet in your brain. That's just rubbish for collectors. Trust me, such self defense weapons, just like sports karate, can get you killed in the street.

  • @robertfulda: I bet you that you're an idiot if you think you should openly hold the thing out to show the attacker it's coming before you defend yourself with it.

I'll bet you that having this is better than having nothing atall.

  • @PooPoo2U Yeah, when you have no arguments to support your lack of logic, calling the other guy an idiot just solves the problem.

Just think, man. I don't deny this item is a nice and interesting thing to have when you and your mates have fun in the back yard with a bottle of water. But imagine that you are the attacker and holding a loaded gun. Would you let the poor guy even move, without watching his every gesture? Do you think you'll be so careless to let him hit you with that?

  • @robertfulda: Ah, so then I suppose you have evidence that proves this couldn't be viable? It's actually based on weapons that have been used for thousands of years.

Hey genius, where exactly does he say it's effective against someone with a gun? He doesn't! That said, if you're held at gunpoint are you saying you'd be better off without anything atall? Guess what: that's stupid!

You were just saying about lack of logic? It seems like you cornered that market here moron.

  • @PooPoo2U Ah... I understand now. "Moron"... You are that kind of Internet people that feels the urge to swear people who disagrees with because this is your only argument. You're either 10 years old, either a troll, or both. Talk to the hand.

  • @robertfulda: Awww, poor thing. Playing butt-hurt because you made a stupid argument with no logical backup. There's a saying for that: The nail that sticks out gets hammered.

Also, the "give up your wallet method" isn't an effective defense because you're not actually defending anything. Duh huh. If they had a knife this has a good chance. I don't know what I'd do if they pulled a gun though... oh wait... THAT'S why I carry a Glock!

  • @robertfulda: Oh, and I'll add it's kinda pathetic to call someone a troll when you were in fact the one who made the first troll comment.

  • @PooPoo2U And you made a second mistake. Having this isn't better than having nothing. If an armed assailant is after your wallet, it is more likely to take it and leave, but if you try to resist with this, well... he might simply shoot you first and ask questions later. Trust me, if you are to resist an attack, you'd better do it properly, or not at all.

But excuse me, we're not living on the same planet? In which dream world do you live?

  • @robertfulda:

My comment: "are you saying you'd be better off without anything atall? Guess what: that's stupid!"

Your comment: "Having this isn't better than having nothing."

You just disagreed with me... by agreeing with me? Derp! What does a wallet have to do with SELF-defense? Are you implying you're a wallet? Are you implying all robbers carry guns? Are you implying that if a guy will only shoot you if you have this in your possession?

  • @foxhound1976 You took that from a Bruce Lee movie... stop hating on this guy, because if you got hit by this you would be flat on the ground.

  • @chrisgeorgegray

did you read my comments?!?! i said i was just being a smart ass. Didnt intend to make anyone burt hurt. Just thought it was a good spot to phrase in Bruce Lee. :)

  • can you post a video on how to make this or show us a site where we can make this or something please??

  • @clemsonkid200 the monkeys fist knot is all over the internet, easy to find; I already have a video on my channel showing how to make the sliding knot (manrope knot), the two strand diamond knot (right at the fist), and the four strand round braid

  • Of course as always, check with your local laws before carrying one. Mine was given to me by a cop, so I know they are legal here. He makes them for people, and made them for fellow police officers and firefighters.

  • I got one on my keychain. The cord isn't long enough to bust a jug, but it is long enough to crack someone in the face or head hard enough if you feel in danger.

  • @brungasto sorry, it scrolls at the end of the video. since I can't post a link in this box here; just google "paracordist" and its top of the list!

  • i want one

  • @OutdoorLuke LOL you can get one just contact me or checkout my website linked in the video

  • That would sting!

  • Very cool, Kevin! =^)

  • nice. but this is something that needs a lot of practice!
