proboat did not discontinue them horizon hobby sells them i like big boats if you really need it faster take off the clutch place a 3 blade prop and a up graded carb that alone it will come close to 50 my freind did it with the same engine don't say its a bad boat its not the hull is well belt also
Have just done some mods to my zenoha and looking at 7.5+h/p. Have done same as you and removered water pump and clutch. Will be trying a ABC prop so once i have it together im hoping for close to 60m/h (100km/h). will get back to you once i have tested but hope the hull can handle it. lol
we removed water pump and clutch installed collet and new flex shaft we had
to break the stuffing tube from the bottom of boat to get the bottom of the strut even
with the bottom of the boat and we epoxyed it back we cut the slot in the back motor mounts to aline the flex shaft to the stuffing tube about 1/4 " more slot and we installed a stainless steel 275 prather

the boat is big and hard to handle and for safty sake we said keep them on. it makes
it easy and safer for a one hand throw in launch. And not only that picking it up too.

i see you left the rails on. They seem to be quiet heavy do you think it would help with your speed.
Albydaman 1 year ago
@Albydaman the rails 5 1/5 inchs and the proboat mounts are 5 1/5" all other mounts {good ones} are 5"

It's a very sluggish boat, could do with a Mathe or SG 35cc engine, or even a PIP .180v. its never going to go very quick with a standard Zenoah in.

we just worked on the boat the young man that owens the boat did not have a lot of money so we worked what we had
and I think it runs well to be stock not everybody
has a bucket of money to put on a motor
and he likes it and that's all that matters
