To the doubters: I know it's hard not to be skeptical, but I go to school with Haley and even saw her 3 days before. She thought the world of her family and she's a very sweet, quiet girl. If I had to guess what the map meant and where she was going, I would guess that she was picking up some more festie kids and heading to the Furthur! show in San Fran that was this past weekend. A good number of festie kids from all over the country arrange rides and pick up more along the way.

I remember when there was someone missing in my community, her parents were both very active on the FB page trying to find their daughter wheras this parent is not. He didn't even link the FB page to his video! Additionally, he keeps stressing on this "social media" point rather than "my daughter is missing" point so that's kind of fishy too.

Is the car she’s driving in her name or yours (dads)? I know this sounds cold, however, sometimes tough love is tough love! If the car is in the dads name you could report it stolen….that will increase the amount of ‘people’ looking for her. I don’t think you gave her permission to be driving at that time of night. Also, does she have an ATM card? If so, have you checked for its usage? The map could be a decoy….she may have gone the other way. Have you checked her computer?

To the doubters: I know it's hard not to be skeptical, but I go to school with Haley and even saw her 3 days before. She thought the world of her family and she's a very sweet, quiet girl. This isn't a publicity stunt or a joke. It's a grieving father who just wants to contact his daughter in the best way he knew of. It's so unfair and sad that people can't accept that this is a real situation. As for "real" news sources, CNN is picking it up and I guarantee you more will follow. Have a heart.

With all of the teen suicides these days it makes all the sense in the world she was a typical unhappy teen who ran away. To make a father who loves her out to be an abuser or whatever is sick. If I had to guess what the map meant and where she was going, I would guess that she was picking up some more festie kids and heading to the Furthur! show in San Fran that was this past weekend. A good number of festie kids from all over the country arrange rides and pick up more along the way.

@arfalon I totally 100 percent agree w/ everything you said :) But on top of that he's not very involved with the facebook page made to try to find Haley! I remember when there was someone missing in my community, her parents were both very active on the FB page trying to find their daughter wheras this parent is not. He didn't even link the FB page to his video! Additionally, he keeps stressing on this "social media" point rather than "my daughter is missing" point so that's kind of fishy too.

Is the car she’s driving in her name or yours (dads)? I know this sounds cold, however, sometimes tough love is tough love! If the car is in the dads name you could report it stolen….that will increase the amount of ‘people’ looking for her. I don’t think you gave her permission to be driving at that time of night. Also, does she have an ATM card? If so, have you checked for its usage? The map could be a decoy….she may have gone the other way. Have you checked her computer?
