I assume you're referring to America's entry as 1942? That is intentional. Partly, it helps the structure of the video, but to justify this historically, though Pearl Harbour (and Americas declaration of war) was 7 Dec 1941, in part due to the destruction caused America did not meaningfully enter into any actual conflict (bar 1 bombing raid on Tokyo) till January 1942. Hence the date shown.
Good videos..and i like the way everyithing turns to politics on YT. The yanks should realize, firstly, we held the Germans off fine without them and even if they hadent of joined the Russians would have still kicked their arse, secondly, they should teach that WW1 started in 1914..not whenever they showed up in the stupid hats..and also ww2 began 1939 not 41..good videos..wonder how many thumbs down i'll get from the hicks..
actually i am one of those yankees [albiet from the south so...] and i agree with you completely, we always came in when the germans were on the losing side of the cycle
@StueyLestrange It is sad, America has so many idiots that we get blinded by there stupidity, but there are people that actually go past call of duty and learn, like myself.
canada mexico canada america = north america and if i recall right they goverment offcial wasnt right but there were americas in fighter planes for the briish and enlisting in the canadian military
wonder what would happen if america didn`t join war we suplied 42% of the tanks and stormed the japenese palace along with nuking the and inventing nukes
Your a moron, first of all, Americans didn't join the war, they were forced into it, so if they didn't take part into the Europe Theatre, they still would of affected nothing. Americans only took about 14 German Divisions while Russia took 140.
Actually it was a group of Canadian scientists that designed and built the nukes. They were then dropped by America on to Japan at Nagasaki and Hiroshima.
Thanks :) But to explain the '42. Pearl Harbour ws late 41 (7th Dec). As a result of the attack the US wasnt able to properly get into hostilities until it had prepped and rebuilt, which wasnt until Jan '42 - hence the date on the vid. (plus it works better on the vid that way ;-) )
PS. Same for comment below! But glad you liked it!
dis a realy dum question but im starting a brand new german army and in the movie SAVING PRIVATE RYAN does anybody know the tank they throw molotovs at it has like a half cab in it
It's a Marder III...the Marder III was not a tank, it was a tank hunting vehicle...its presence in SPR testifies how Spielberg doesn't know anything about WWII since a tank hunter would NEVER EVER have been allocated to clear a village occupied by u.s. infantry...PzJg were reserved to long range tank sniping from ambush positions...an open topped vehicle in urban combat is doomed, you can take its crew out w- pistols!
Inu Yasha soundtrack - I cant remember the exact Japanese name but it starts as Shichi nin no ....... Its also two seperate soundtracks on the CD that are designed to follow from one to the other.
I really should cut and paste a response to this one :) -
Pearl Harbour occured on the 7th December 1941, and America's declaration of war occured only a matter of hours afterwards. However, the attack had been so damaging America could not physically enter the war against Japan in any meaningful sense until the following year. Hence it saying 1942.
Plus it makes for a better structure for the video.
You're only the fourth person to point this out so far :) The attack was indeed december 41, however the effective American entry into the war was not until the following year (largely because of the attack) hence it stating '42
Honestly I'm not too sure (i dont play it myself). The prices you can probably find on their website - they do quite a few army deals. Painting wise - depends on the person and what level of detail you want, but its only 15mm, so it wouldn't take too long i would imagine.
And he'd be right. I explained this in an earlier comment, when someone else pointed this out - The attack was 7th Dec 1941, however America did not engage fully in the war until the following year, largely as a result of the attack - hence the change above. Plus it makes for a better structured video :)
Trying to figure out if this is a bad thing or not. Whats wrong with painting your flames of war stuff? God knows ive got enough to models to paint myself!
Actually the bail out and in is realistic ,has its often heard that shells that penetrated the tank tank crewmen would immediately bail out even if the shot didnt blew it up ,how do you think tankers survived ? did you really think they would have a chance to bail out after explosion? use your head!
...ok, use my head ok...So the tank gets hit and penertrated by a dud shell. The Crew bale out, then when they have recovered from the shock, jump back into a tank with an unexploded shell in it! Sign me up for first back in!!
Im sure it happened once or twice, but to make it into a game mechanic...nahhh.
- not once or twice, go read veterans accounts and the way they handled such events.Besides if you think a little you will also find out the bail out thing also works has a "crew stunned effect", games dont work in the strict sense of the word always mate, you gotta work it out...its also simpler just to call it under a overall "rule of bail out" so it fits within the scale of the game, is too small to make such small categories. Not the most realistic but its a functional realism.
And there in lies the real crux of the problem - Actual reality versus the practicalities of game mechanics. It seems to work in FoW from what I've seen, but I'd have to ask the guys who play it as to what they think of it.
How bought rather than bitch that this game isn't realistic enough, you go play ASL or whatever your fancy is, and everyone else will quit bitching about how overly complicated your game is.

I have got it down to two tanks that I know!
It's either a Marder 2 as the others say or a Nashorn.
If I remember correctly though the one from the movie doesn't have a tall hull and it also has a full round bullet cover.
I think based on what I remeber the tank is closer to the Nashorn! I'd say Nashorn.
