uc has some of the greatest production in a video game is just pure art so much details. even if it was in fps view it would still blows almost any fps game out there. cant wait for the third one to come out.

Original doesn't necessary mean the first of its kind. MW2 is every FPS out there, but done better in every way, especial the online mode. It the all the years of FPS sharpen to this one.
I never said MW2 was a bad game. It's very fun, but MW2 is not that original as "Longie222" made it out to be, and neither is U2 but both really fun games.

It's just so overrated. i can only force myself to play 10-15 minutes of multiplayer at a time, and the gameplay itself is dull. the graphics aren't as outstanding as everyone says they are, they just focused on what they wanted you to see (guns, explosions). the character models are weird and the textures leave a lot to be desired.
I think it is an excellent game. It has little strategy, unlike e.g. bad company, but thats not what you play CoD for, you play it for the set pieces and gameplay etc. Multiplayer i think is great, much better than cod4, which is saying something, and the graphics while here and there admitedly rather dull, in most places are amazing!
i guess we all have our preferances. I will say this, though: Nazi Zombies is the greatest minigame of all time. If that's what you call it. too bad there was nothing based off that in the game, lol.

THIS is GOTY. MW2 will win beacuse of the sheer popularity but this IMO is one of the greatest games ever released. If anyone is interested, i love it so much ive got UC2 montages on my channel. xD
what i find funny is that there are more than 20,000 more copies of mw2 than uc2, yet the difference is only 20,000. uncharted 2 has much more consistent ratings by professionals and amateur reviewers alike, almost everyone gives uc2 a score of over 90%. however, mw2 has some great reviews, but also some mediocre, good and even bad reviews. i've seen professionals going as low as 70% and amateurs going as low as 10%.

@bokwa11t12 Actually, a vote for something like Borderlands is a vote wasted. You either vote for Uncharted, or MW2. Anything else is a wasted vote within this category.

It's just so overrated. i can only force myself to play 10-15 minutes of multiplayer at a time, and the gameplay itself is dull. the graphics aren't as outstanding as everyone says they are, they just focused on what they wanted you to see (guns, explosions). the character models are weird and the textures leave a lot to be desired.

I think it is an excellent game. It has little strategy, unlike e.g. bad company, but thats not what you play CoD for, you play it for the set pieces and gameplay etc. Multiplayer i think is great, much better than cod4, which is saying something, and the graphics while here and there admitedly rather dull, in most places are amazing!

i guess we all have our preferances. I will say this, though: Nazi Zombies is the greatest minigame of all time. If that's what you call it. too bad there was nothing based off that in the game, lol.

you said everything. U2 has everything: a great story, great controls and it really feels like a movie. MW2 is just 1 more first-person shooter game among others with a bad story with a plot that makes you kill inocent people. It might be controversial but is it realist? How hard can it be to kill gunless oponnents... It has great game modes but so does U2

what i find funny is that there are more than 20,000 more copies of mw2 than uc2, yet the difference is only 20,000. uncharted 2 has much more consistent ratings by professionals and amateur reviewers alike, almost everyone gives uc2 a score of over 90%. however, mw2 has some great reviews, but also some mediocre, good and even bad reviews. i've seen professionals going as low as 70% and amateurs going as low as 10%.

it sure is too bad modern warfare 2 is gonna win. sadly, there arent enough ps3 owners, nevermind ps3 owners who have uncharted 2. the only reason modern warfare will probably win is because there are som many people who have it. this is what i dont like about voting for awards cermonies. there should be some sort of "handicap" system, where every vote is worth less depending on how much copies the game sold. example, every voye for mw2 equals 1/4 vote, while every vote for uc2 equals 2 votes.

no, you are an idiot. you really expect a game released over 3 platforms can compete with a game released on a platform with the lowest current sales in terms of votes? There are more copies of mw2 sold than there are ps3 owners, therefore it is an unfair poll. okami had very low sales, yet it won game of the year for many websites/magazines. halo wars sold tons of copies, yet it is the definition of a badly made rts. sales≠quality.
