yes there FFXI wing of goddes is an expansion pack, to save a lot of money u have to buy FINAL FANTASY COLLECOR 2009 EDITION something like that, i dont remember the exact name, but u can find it on amazon.

FFXI has 4 expansion pack ZILART,PROMATIA,another one but i dont remember the name and wing fo goddes...

FFXI is not F2p is P2p so u have to pay something about 12.90 $ .

final fantasy is the one of the best MMORPG i ever played...It is true,graphic is a bit old, but graphic doesnt make a game good or not... FFXI has a great story line,and mission for ranking ar SUPER SUPER BEAUTIFUL!! i still remember mission for crystals shard in HOLLA..lol that place scaried me :D..i quit it couse ff11 is a party based game....infact other games can not be call MMORPG couse MMO is MASSIVE MULTIPLAYER and WoW is not massive..80 lvv to grind alone!!

Wow you are really retarded and clearly haven't played FFXI. The actual current majority of player base is USA/EU. You wont notice JP's much unless you're on at the timezone when they are playing. You can get level 75 in 4 days, 3 days at best - quick.

You're stupid... If its your first job to 75(NOT 70 theres 5 more lvls dummy) theres 5 limit breaks starting with 50 every 5 levels... So ya its more challanging than LOLWOW, and then afterwards its easy and not to mention the AF quests for every job you level...

To All Summoners: Someone pointed out on another forum that at 41 seconds in to the video you see a summoner clearly equipped with a Scythe.

FFXI are kinda pointless, but most of them makes fun and are exiting, in WoW u do the hole time quests, they are totally boring and very similiar but they bring u a lot of exp and sometimes rare and good items.

About the quest comments, Yeah WoW quests are so awesome, 'find a pearl in a clam on a beach and receive 10 level ups worth of exp!'

WoW doesn't even have a real story and no cutscenes or anything similar to that. Only thing I could imagen worthwhile in WoW is level a character to 70 in a week and sell it to some wanking faggot like in that video.

Yeah, FFXI got borign after 2 min to me, you start off with like nothing, and quests are pointless, they give you no money... Actually FFXI players could say the same about WoW though. WoW is just a grind where most of the things are served on a silver plate. In FFXI atleast, you have to work for good items, LOTS of work too.

I played WoW for 3 weeks, got 70 and tier 4 and just quit. You may have 7million players, but you cant talk to half of them because they're on the other alliance. in ffxi everyone can talk/ play with each other, and i've been playing for 2 years and have 3 75's, took al ot longer, lot more fun, and the storyline is beautiful.

About what Frfall92 wrote; No, you can't jump. You're limited to Hume (male and female) , Elvaan (male and female), Mithra, TaruTaru(male and female), and Galka. All jobs are very unique and special, if you haven't played FFXI you wouldn't know. It's easy to tell that you are just throwing stuff at us which you have obviously "heard" from other wow players.

I'm looking towards this one. Aht Urhgan was the expansion that kinda disappointed me. They made it for more of a EXP zerg then it was storyline. CoP is a great storyline and now this one is coming out. I think this will have a lot of fun things in it. Personally I prefer these kind of graphics over the "Eastern Aht Urhgan" type of graphics.

So now SE thinks they can just slap together yet another slew of Missions and quests together and call it an Expansion pack. they confirmed new jobs and 30+ zones to be in the next expansion... the 59 sec trailer shows you only 10 zones tops >.>

They confirmed that there will be most likely 3 possibly 4 jobs in the expansion we will also most likely see tavnazia before it was destroyed and they confirmed many new spells and such to be added for existing jobs. Ontop of this they confirmed new battle systems similiar to besieged and new additions to things such as 2-hand weapons around the time of the release.
