He sure is. I cannot believe Clyburn would imply that Jindal, Barbour, Perry, and Sanford were racists because their states were in the African-American belt and thats why they denied the stimulus as to supress them. I think a Romney-Sanford or Romney-DeMint would be good options.
I think we all know very well that Romney's position on abortion and certain other issues were softened just because he was running in Massachusetts. If he could talk to you privately he would tell you that. My family was involved in the campaign (we're Mormons) and that was basically what he told the campaign insiders.
I am not supporting Romney because I am Mormon. My Mormon family members in Nevada don't support Harry Reid. I have looked at Romney's track record and that is why I support him.
And my biggest gripe with him is something that he still probably supports: Mandatory health insurance. Its a bg FU to everyone who is younger than 40 and I would even prefer a single payer system to that.
Forcing young people like myself to spend hundreds of dollars per month for something they don't want to use is criminal, and makes him a completely inferior candidate.
Both of my parents are physicians and his health insurance requirment in Massachusetts has worked wonders for health care in Massachusetts. It is much better than a single-payor health system.
A single-payor health system would lower the quality of care and decrease the number of doctors. A single-payor system regulates doctors pay and makes them not want to work. It forces them to unionize.
So they want to force people to buy health insurance because that way more people will go to the doctor and the insurance will pay for more expensive operations.
So basically your parents want to force other people to subsidize their job.
Some one tell the morons in washington that SC is not for sale!

I completely agree, except that Romney does not deserve to be included in the same sentence as Sanford.
In fact Romney does not deserve to place a capital R next to his name.

Its really sad that my assumption that you are a Mormon was confirmed.
Its not bigoted to vote against someone who happens to be Mormon. It is bigoted to vote for someone only because they are Mormon.
He did what he did and it was wrong. You have no real reason to pick him over Sanford other than the fact that he is Mormon.
