i bought this phone because its really reliable and cost effective, plus its a great phone, i mean its not a computer, but that’s why i own a computer, i enjoy this phone so much because net10 really do think of the best things and they include everything at a great price, and you can control your monthly spending, i used a contract for most of my life and i must admit people need to try this and see for themselves.

i agree with you about the net10 things, i got these phones for my kids, and they think the phones are great, plus they dont want their friends knowing they are on prepaid, i find this to be the best phone around, like it costs nothing, and has every thing, but when people find out the phones are net10 they are very impressed, and how much we save compared to having three contracts, net10 is great.

Its definitely worth the eighty bucks with the full keyboard. The two months and 300 minutes free to start is great added bonus and the flat rate of 10 cents a minute is very doable.

@TheCooliPodtouchGuy no, the 3 cents isnt a scam. Some/many phones were programmed with 5 cents like most Net10 phones. Net10 probably made a decision to give 3 cents after the fact.

Anyway, go to Menu, Prepaid, Code Entry and enter *#8 this will show what ur phone was programmed with. If it's 5 cents call customer support and they will change it. If u get someone who isn't aware of the promotion tell them to go to the Net10 site. Its listed.

@idontcare8508 The phone comes with 300 minutes free and as you need minutes, you buy minutes cards from retailers like WalMart, Kmart or online at the Net10 site.

The card has a long number you enter into your phone then shortly after your phone is updated with added minutes and the service date is extended.
