  • This was CNN Sports Tonite's 1988 NBA "Play of the Year". Mel Proctor was the infamous announcer for the Washington Bullets who called this "sinking of the Titanic". It's a shame announcers don't call the games with this kind of emotion & passion anymore (except Appalacian State in '07).
