@JoeyGirsang Im using a very, very cheap Ibanez and im plugged into a pod amp emulator so it depends on what you mean by "difference" haha.

@JoeyGirsang the amp for sure plug a crap guitar into a good amp and it sounds good obviously plug agood guitar good amp well even better but overall amp is were the sound comes from so yea

@crisDAwog it now has pick ups that came with my JS100 fitted, the bridge is more durable type now. After 19 years of playing its safe to say i could probably plug into anything and feel confident enough it would still sound like me, weather it sounded any good depends on what you would think if you heard it lol! Without doubt a good guitar and amp gives you a great sound, i know its cliche to say but its all in the hands and depends on your ability a great deal too!

Hey there its Lucky Here, im using my Pod XT Live for my Pedal board style effects and a Pod 2.0 (the red kidney pod) as my amp simulator. Not sure about Ben though but im sure he will get back to you on it lol! Thanks for watching buddy ;-)

The X3 Live is good too but ive always prefered the earlier versions of the line 6 stuff, not sure why?? Line 6 are really great though for this kinda stuff, all though i used them both for the majority of the guitar work on my recently released debut albums.

@wjm123 Like i say its a combination of the pod xt live and my pod 2.0, going back to seperate pedals for the live shows though. Costing me and arm and a leg since the effects i used on my albums were the vintage model effects in my pod xt live. Its a bummer having to by the actual seperate pedals or equivelant versions of the old vintage stuff...
