you know I can't really remember, I might have used 01. Now I use mostly a modified 11 - custom kits are where it's at.

Okay, I was told and am lead to believe that Roland makes the superior product. And apparantly the modules (which is the most important part as it supplies the sound) are far better on the Roland side. And the mesh heads are closer to the feeling of a drum skin than the rubber is.

Hey, great drumming! I may have asked you this before so indulge me, will you? :-) My question: Are you using an amp for these? The drums and cymbal sounds are great but I have this sinking feeling that they don't sound that good without some sort of amplification, am I right?

First, thanks, I'm glad you enjoy the drumming.

These are actually hooked right into my PC for recording. 99% of the time I play with some good headphones and it sounds really good. So for like 60 bucks they sound amazing. I also have it hooked up through my stereo with some large speakers too.

I should have another video in a week or so...I don't play as much during the summer :)

Dude that was pretty sweet! I also have that set. Did you buy mesh for the toms too? If you did, how much of a difference does that make?

Thanks. I bought this kit from drumbalaya when it was still going. It was the TD3SX and it came with all mesh toms and snare. So I guess they kept the rubbers and added mesh for a price. You can buy them individually and then sell your rubbers on ebay or something :)
