  • 20:29 - 20:36 I can see Dave Crabtree saying to Captain Manzini while locking him up in the garage, “Yes, I don’t know what I ever saw in her either!”

  • 9:49 - 9:55 I can see Dave Crabtree saying after that, "Yes, it was one of my lou---wait a minute! What do you mean “lousy jokes?” If I recall correctly, your jokes weren’t too hot either, but I married you anyway, now didn’t I?" I also think that the show probably would've lasted more than a season if it had a live audience.

  • blah blah blah in some year some person or people died blah blah blah and if you dont copy paste this on some number of videos the ghost of the person/people will kill you at some time tonight...

  • Christine's non-evil grandmother

  • I remember this show when I was a kid.

They said Gilligan's Island was goofy. This show seemed so plausible then!

  • A car with a built-in saleswoman! Lets all take a guilt trip! Only kidding, I remember this show when I was a kid.

They said Gilligan's Island was goofy!

  • honk honk honk hoooooooooooooonk HONK

hahaha, honking honk, yur mom's a car

  • Solid story line. haha..

  • I dig classic cars and the first scene with all those cars wow it makes you feel so well I don't know what but... that blue cadillac looks nice lol

  • Dick Van Dyke's brother, Jerry!!!

  • I haven't been able to play any of these episodes. For weeks. No other YouTube video gives me a problem. Only these. What gives?!

  • @zoppie Some videos will Not work with the newer 64 bit Operating System only 32 bit there Is a free down load called Linux Mint Isadora Gnome 32 bit the DVD version has VLC media then burn to a disk then boot with It, will run It will Not harm Computer.

  • ...gotta love those old school sitcoms, and those Van Dykes are some talented folks...thanks for posting this vid... :0)

  • So getting stranded on an uncharted island with six others is more bizarre than the premise of one's mother being reincarnated as a car?

What kind of logic is that?

  • Interesting piece of trivia: In official polls, this show has been voted as the worst television show in TV history more times than any other show.

  • Will YouTube be uploading anymore My Mother The Car episodes?

  • dude, he ripped off his mom's hood ornament.

  • Wow, could not believe this was here! Haven't seen it since it first aired :) Course it wasn't as popular as other shows but it's still nice to relive the memories, thank you!

  • Ann Southern was the voice of "Mother."

  • @jsbach15 Sothern, not Southern. And yes, she was.

  • Jerry Van Dyke turned down the part of Gilligan in Gilligan's Island for this.

He thought the premise of "Gilligan's Island was too incredible.

    True story.

  • @sandrilene23 Wow....

  • @sandrilene23 whatever. This is a pretty good show (so is Giligans Island, I love that show!!)

  • Noticed this version is completely without the LAUGH-TRACK....why is that?

  • Interesting that this series had an identical premise to "Mr. Ed" - the car/Mom only spoke to Dave just as Ed only spoke to Wilbur - & only when they were alone. Both shows, although a bit silly, are better than most shows of late. Was too young to have seen this one - or to remember "Mr. Ed". The "This" network runs "Mr. Ed" reruns & other classics.

  • Weren't people told for decades that this series was NOT preserved... and yet, here it is all pristinely remastered?

  • Watch Real Classics ALL TIME TV CLASSICS com

  • The worst TV show ever? Well, it's certainly not good, but it's silly fun, and the theme song is unforgettable. Here on the pilot there's no laugh track, and that makes it a lot easier to take.

The worst American TV show of all time? My vote goes to "Queen for a Day", surely an abomination against God and Man if ever there was one.

  • Hey You Tube! Add all 30 episodes of MMTC please! Thank you.

  • this show came out when i was 8 yrs old.after mister ed(the talking horse) became a hit.i dont think it ran long and was never as popular as mr ed. but i did like it. thanks for posting it and bringing back some good memories.

  • Jerry was perfect in "Coach" and well this plot is silly, what isn't? But there is a sentimental quality about it and I think this episode shows that Jerry could have done some great dramatic roles. I do think it could make a movie.

  • I believe the actor playing Capt. Manzini name is "Avery Schreiber." Perhaps the painters is a reference to him, or maybe he even owned it.

  • At 19:36, isn't that a cameo appearance of "MacBeth", the car that the old aunts used on Bewitched?

  • The painter is called A. Schreib. Is that a direct ripoff of Earl Schieb?

  • As a Phillies fan, I loved the Mets reference!

  • The show is quite cute & funny! Anyone who dislikes it needs their head examined!

  • I agree!

Many reviewers have called it the worst show ever on American television.

Have they seen "Three's Company" or "Seinfeld"?

I'm 45 and this is the very first time I have ever seen "My Mother The Car".

  • ghost dad ripped this off? I love this show.

  • Wasn't Jerry Van Dyke on that show "Coach" but much older of course?

  • yes

  • @Unjins99 yes.

  • @Unjins99 yep......

  • Cute show! Sure is nice to see something that's not trashy! I like the old classic shows. Even the silly ones are better than the new junk they have on now days!

  • I want the car too!

  • So funny, I love watching Jerry Van Dyke, and Ann Southern! The original Knight Rider Hehe!

  • Mario as Captain Manzini

  • That show was nice, if you can get over the stupidity of the premise and the writing.

Hardly the worst series ever on TV. I think Quark should get that title.

  • you ever seen "Dark Shadows"? nuff said.

  • Dark Shdows was shitty but it's considered a classic

  • your a douche

  • really have loved seeing this

  • I can't believe i am seeing these shows again. I don't care who thinks I'm crazy---I'm having the time of my life!

    I love these!!

  • I'm right there with you. And I'm 41 so some of these are 'new' to me

  • @oldladyfan Liking classics does not make you crazy.

  • OMG! I can't believe they've posted this show! I was 12 when I watched this show. I laughed myself silly at how bad tihs show was. I'd already learned to love Anne Southern in reruns and liked Jerry Van Dyke. I'm proud to say I watched every episode of what is regularly touted as one of the worst series on TV! Ha! Ha!

  • no one is going to so shut up

  • I was 13 and loved this show when it first aired. It was in an era of goodtime fantasy shows like "Bewtiched" and "Mr. Ed" and fit right in. The creator-writers were veterans of Jay Ward Productions ("Rocky & Bullwinkle," "Fractured Flickers," etc.) and went on to write a LOT of great sitcom television. I love the theme song and wish I had it on a CD. Watching this suddenly brings to life a lot of emotions, both happy and sad, as it is a vivid snapshot from a lost time in all our lives.

  • si no escribis esto en 10 videos tu mama se va a morir es 4hs
