What's sad is all that needs to happen is a Godsmack fan to come along and say something vile about your mother, instead of them not taking offense but looking into Neal Peart and Alex Van Halen and saying "Holy Shit... yeah, those guys are better drummers..." It's funny. And nothing against Godsmack. I'm a Cruehead and I'll be the first to admit that Motley Crue are well out of their heyday. But so is Godsmack's Voodoo song. -vICiouS-

This whole part of their show beats the entire Motley Crue set. If the Crue does not want to be overshadowed than they shouldn't have Godsmack open. Tommy Lee could not carry the gym bag of Shannon Larkin. Sorry, it is the truth!

@chadludwig i agree that shannon is AMAZING but to say that tommy couldnt carry a gym bag to shannon is a bit of a stretch, you have to give tommy his credit, hes pretty damn amazing himself. I did not go to crew fest but i can believe that godsmack went out and the crew every single night. What i would love to see is a Shannon vs Tommy drum battle, that would be interesting for sure.

I was at the Darien Lake show. Godsmack was head and shoulders above everyone else there. Crue had the staging, but the sound wasn't that great, and we left after Vince started screaming at a fan who was dumb enough to throw a bottle at him on stage. That was just boring. I'm glad I didn't pay money for the show, but I would definitely pay to see Godsmack in a concert next time around!

I was at the last show in Darien Lake. They killed it. Blew Crue out of the water. After they finished a shot-ton of ppl left the show it was funny. Crue sounded to screechy for me. they sounded like crap. Although Tommy's base drum was kicking!
