I've been following Garbage for over 15 years as a loyal devoted fan, ever since they were overshadowed by No Doubt's release of Tragic Kingdom. I respect No Doubt - but I knew as soon as I saw Shirley in concert here in SD, that she (and Garbage - Duke, Steve, Butch) was ahead of her time.

Garbage is a staple and one of the last pioneers of electrically-synthesized R&R (up there with NIN and Yeah Yeah Yeahs).
