I lived in Germany for 18 years..was married to a German for 13..it's a very nice country..the Germans lead great lives...but they don't have a very dynmaic economy..it's very ridged..and pretty hard to change careers. Burning fossil fuels isn't a long term solution to our energy problem. The US only has about 3% of world reserves. The US uses WAY TOO MUCH oil. Our lifestyle is unsustainable, and eventually our kids will pay for what's squandered. With drilling comes potential oil spills, which can be deadly and expensive to clean up. Better to invest in sustainable energy

If we use up our oil to fill up our suv's once its gone, its gone... then if the middle east wants to fuck us over, they just cut off our oil and they have us by the nuts. there are bigger issues to worry about than just drilling. I lean right on some issues but not neoconservatism- their foreign policy is killing us, and killing others literally

1. Look in my inbox, and read the messages from Obama haters I've received. Despicable.
2. They are fanatics for killing in the name of God, no different than the Islamic terrorists US Christians are crusading against. I believe in God, but I won't claim to know God's will. That would be arrogant. I believe God's too big to fit in one religion.
3. Considering burning fossil fuels is leading to climate change, which will cause chaos, using resources to find alternative energy seems wiser.

My comment and I stick by it. I am now a GOPer. Not a racist since i'm hispanic. Not a religious nut, since I am a christian but havent been to church since easter, and whats wrong with drilling? You got the money to pay for expensive clean energy? Check & mate.

If you can't see who your fellow GOPers are, that's your problem. But you should know hispanics can be just as racists as everyone else.
Burning fossil fuels isn't a long term solution to our energy problem. The US only has about 3% of world reserves. The US uses WAY TOO MUCH oil. Our lifestyle is unsustainable, and eventually our kids will pay for what's squandered. With drilling comes potential oil spills, which can be deadly and expensive to clean up. Better to invest in sustainable energy

Drilling is not a long term solution and it will be 10 years before we can access any of that oil.

Tonight 10.18.2008 he made a joke saying if Sarah Palin came back from being reincarnited he hopes she comes back as a wolf so she could be shot from a helicopter.
