Ive got a six in both of my mvs u4s as well. Another way you can get the six slot in there is to tilt it on an angle where the left side is at the top left corner and the right side of the board is at the right bottom corner and its a tight fit but the board will go in. Just make sure to take all the carts out when you go to put it in and have a good grip on the board as it is pretty bulky. Nice video man!
Good call man. I'm actually adding plexi's to the bottom of these pcb's to prevent any shorting later, since 6 slot's are notorious for hardware failure. I ended up swapping this board into my super neo 29 type II, and now I need buy a 4 slot for the U4. U4 was a lot of fun to restore.. It sat in my garage for like a decade. Pulled it out and the monitor and everything seemed fine. I need to check and see if it needs some new caps on that chassis mount pcb though.
