  • is it possible to purchase the iso 800 action individually?

  • No not at this time. It is only available in the full bundle.

  • dithering breaks up banding that can occur in areas where the tone gradiates. The dither is like noise or dots that breaks up the bandin or stripe like appearance. You may not see much of a difference on screen but dithering will help for printing.Dithering is also used when compressing in the gif format to minimize posterization. This is not a formal definition, but one of observation.

  • What does dither do? Everything that I've tried it on shows no difference.

  • god help us, is that kathy griffin?? :( :P

  • you are too limited in background color with this method.. isolation to transparent would be better.. event to make subject suitable for any background color.

  • Thank you Mama for it is because of your very clear and explicit tutorials that i could get oriented to working with Photoshop. Please keep posting your vids and enlightening the greens like me. Have a nice day and greetings from India.

  • Great Work.

  • You're videos are so great. Thx a lot. Greets from Germany. :)

  • I've been trying to do some pinup and glamour shots. Trying to get the white background has been kicking my behind. I tried your technique, and it worked well. I just had trouble with the hair looking bad. I didn't have your ISO 800 action and that may have been the problem because what I tried didn't work very well. I had to go back to my old method because the photo was for a customer.

I'm looking forward to viewing your other videos.

  • We have over 7 hours of video training in the Pindora's Box-Glamouring edition package, that covers all this and more.

  • Thank you so much, your videos have been so helpful.

  • Wonderful! Just the first thing to do a rough selection was really good. It can be used for so many things. Even if your videos are longer than others their really great. You can hear and really understand, good!

  • Excellent detailed tutorial with clear steps.....very good.

    Thankyou !

  • I love Photoshop and your videos have really helped me! But I dont know what I have done but I cant shrink or either make the picture bigger.....I could do it befor, but I guess I pressed some button or somthing. can somebody help me! plz!

  • all look fantastic but the skin looks lighter after all. look at her left thigh. it seems disappeared. loss of color after all... just my opinion

  • You're right, It is lighter than original but the print does show definition, and works well as an illustration. Sometimes, depending on your monitor profile and your platform, images online will appear lighter or darker, too! Usually for Mac it looks lighter and for PC it looks darker.

  • pretty good tutorial. long live the laso and the wand. a bit long, but it's good.

  • Thanks! If you think this is long...beware of some of my others! ha! I do know I'm long-winded with my vids--but I'm a stickler for the details. I'm always trying to be aware of not leaving things out. I know that can be grueling for the more advanced user or others who can digest a faster feed...but it is what it is and will continue to be.

  • @photoshopmama your tutorials are so good. I've looked at so many of yours and learn so much from them. Thanks so much. ♥

  • This is fantastic! You are an excellent teacher.

  • Thank you! I have a passion for it and I'm grateful to be able to do it and make ends meet! And this wouldn't be possible without all of you who view my videos and like them! Thank you all for rating, commenting, adding to favorites...and letting me know you are learning and appreciate the vids--what you do is just as much appreciated by me, too!

  • Once again..another great tutorial Mama

  • I discovered your tutorials only a few weeks ago and I am enjoying the heck out of them. They've been able to teach me a lot of things I'd been struggling to figure out on my own for quite a while. Thanks!

  • Thanks! I'm happy to hear that!

  • very nice, thanks

  • For the two years I have learned from you, you are still amazing. Perfect tut.

    C & A

  • I've been teaching for 10 years and guess what???? I'm still learning too! When I stop learning guess I'll be dead, eh?

  • Great tutorial, thnx!

  • excellent !

  • Excellent tutorial, as usual. Thanks!

  • Leant alot of shortcuts like zoom and you are doin a great job too.....

  • although i dont do a lot of glamour work hahaha, you have brought me photoshop game to a whole new level. thanks!!!

  • That model sure does have stumpy little legs.

  • I think you missed the point...sad that's all you got out of this tutorial.

  • Oh god no, the tute was amazing. You never cease to amaze me with the things you can do. I didn't think that needed to be said, it's so obvious how good you are. But that model definately has stubby legs (of course I'd die to have her legs rather than mine!)

  • Glad to hear that and sorry if I jumped down your throat a bit. I just don't like it when anyone criticizes a feature or physical attribute that was god-given. Mandy is tiny but has what I think is a perfect figure and she's an amazing pin up model and talented seamstress.

  • once again i luv u mama always feeding my mind with the goodies!!!! i always learned something when u teaching

  • Big Mahalo's Mama....clean explanation, easy to follow video with a little photochop knowledge. A very useful tutorial...I'm off to give a go....Aloha to you~

  • How long have you been using photoshop? You really seem to know your stuff. Good work.

  • Started using it in 1998 and got my Adobe Certified Expert qualification and started teaching it in 1999.

  • Awesome

  • wich version of Ps do u havee?

  • This video was using CS4 but I have versions 7 through CS4.

  • Question, what screen capture software do you use?

  • Techsmith's Camtasia Studio 6

  • Cool

  • AMAZING!!!
