Glad Pete can fly this one... This is one of only a couple of planes I'v e given up on and thrown away, basically a piece of junk which doesn't really have the power to climb to altitude and fly reasonably with the motor it comes with and doesn't fly well with stronger motors.

yeah right. i bought this plane, and it flew like crap. he didn't tell you all the extra things you have to do before you fly it. like the tail is to heavy, the nose needs to be weighted, the trim all needs to be adjusted before the plane even hits the air., its underpowered. crash resistant, ha, it went up ten feet and crashed breaking the laminated wood support in the gullwing. the prop gear box is cheaply made broke, first crash from ten feet up pushed the wood prop support into the plane.
I have to agree with you 100%.This was my newest plane and it lasted about a month.I managed to get one good flight then it was never the same afterwards.Most of the plane is just glued together.The motor is mounted to a wood stick and the stick is glued to styrofoam.That I think is the biggest flaw.You get what you pay for

Hey I've just purchased one of these and I must say R/C has come a long way in 25 years since I last flew. Unfortunately on turn in to final approach I stalled it, my fault,c.o.g. was wrong, I hadn't put the battery far enough forward. Now doing repairs to the engine mount spar, is there any down thrust built into these. Cheers Rob.

I think it's quality control issues. I've yet to get mine in the air, as the control surfaces had little authority. Also, I'm a crap pilot ;) but some extra work was needed out of the box to get everything to move properly, and remain straight and level in resting position.
Setup aside, the plane itself seems of good quality, and the canopy can fit a generic 3S lipo as high as 1800mAh in capacity, it actually seems to be cut for it. I put mine on lipos straight away!

@ryansaif I got a different plane and I got mine about 1.5 weeks later. The only way you can get in touch with them is to use the online tech support. I did and I got someone but I did wait 30 mins. so if you know what you are doing they are cheapest place on the web for these types of planes!
I'm 12 and got one of these for my birthday and its REALLY cool. I'm used to cheap 2-channel rc planes and i used realflight G4 demo to learn how to fly a 4-channel lol. Now i can do outside loops and barrel roles and i can land this plane perfectly. Its a really good buy and it handles great so if you want a good first or just another rc-plane this is a good buy!

Take a chill pill, dude! Foam planes break (note the spelling) so do balsa/ply and monocote variants.
hey i just bought a hobby zone super cub and i went out and flew it today and i was in the air for about 3 min then i crashed it into the ground and i broke it in half and these planes are pretty cheap and look awesome and i was wondering if it is a good beginer plane
If I were you, i'd stay with the super cub. Even though you broke it in half, that's nothing a little glue and packing tape cant fix. I did the same thing to mine. I glued it up, taped it up, and it was back in the air in no time. These planes are really meant for someone who is trained enough that they can adapt to whatever they're flying.

You just want to always keep in mind that airspeed is your friend. Carry enough air speed on a landing approach and use small stick movements to guide a landing.

How do you build your planes so well pete ?? When I built my TW cessna, it was quite asymmetrical and the back wheel totally of the center axis of the fuselage. Maybe I just got a defective package.

They are available on different frequencies. When you place an order, there is a comment box. Write clearly in the comment box that you need the 2 to be shipped on separate frequencies.

i have to say i bought this as my first airplane and i thought yeah $99 prolly really crappy..right? i was wrong it flys nicer then i thought it would and as a novice very easy to fly...
I had the chance to see one of these fly and got to honestly get a little stick time on one (this is a good 2nd or 3rd aileron plane not for the first time pilot. but once you have mastered Ailerons easy to fly!
I noticed that it is a stick type mount. Is it actually 10mm like the GWS ones? I was thinking of getting a GWS motor mount a sticking a brushless motor on it. It looks like a good airframe.

Honestly, go with with something more expensive if you want to step up to a 4 channel. Get a Parkzone T-28 or corsair. Their about 160$ more but the reliablility is more.

This will be a good transition from a 3 channel. It is made of EPO foam so crash resistance is much better than regular foam. If you have basic 3 channel knowledge, this will be a great next step!
How is the range? I heard that this is just a basic 27mhz transmitter and does not work properly on some. Does it come on differnet 27mhz channels, or is it just 27mhz. Have you had any range problems, cut outs, etc? Thanks!
27mhz works just fine. In the video I used all stock components that comes in the package. Whether its 27mhz or 72mhz, if there is a radio issue, we will resolve it. Thnanks!
It will not go out of range. Any aircraft on 27 or 72 or even 2.4, it is like clock work for the pilot to range check the aircraft on the ground before flight. If there is a range issue at that time you will know. Contact me and I will resolve it.

Oh, the planes themselves are fantastc, I had one. They are aerobatic and fly great.
But Banana Hobby has such a bad reputation for taking money and then not delivering anything. I want to warn people to look out for them.
Type banana hobby on google; one of the options that will come up will be "banana hobby complaints". That says alot.

The movement doesnt look like much, but it will sure roll the plane. If you adjust for more throw, it will just crash.

Not bad for $100.00 and looks like it flies great!!!, but I prefer the Parkzone Corsair, it comes brushless, lipo and 2.4 ghz, obviously more money tho!!!....I will check out ur website

They are available on different frequencies. When you place an order, there is a comment box. Write clearly in the comment box that you need the 2 to be shipped on separate frequencies.

but as i said for $99 starter plane you cant beat it just dont have you hopes high and expect and uber plane for $99 and youll be fine i am very happy about my purchase

.i still wish i would have known about the parkzone model i would have got that one first only because i feel like im advancing very fast and now i have to go out and spend more money for more power rather just investing in something that its been a month and to be seems under powered ..for a first purchase it is a great buy :) 4/5

You can just buy a brushless motor and esc combo and a lipo battery for about 60 bucks and there you go! Parkzone plane is another 200 bucks.

I had the chance to see one of these fly and got to honestly get a little stick time on one (this is a good 2nd or 3rd aileron plane not for the first time pilot. but once you have mastered Ailerons easy to fly!

I noticed that it is a stick type mount. Is it actually 10mm like the GWS ones? I was thinking of getting a GWS motor mount a sticking a brushless motor on it. It looks like a good airframe.

I want to buy this!!! is it good for a first 4 channel?? ive flown 3 channels for a while, and i want something with ailerons. BTW, all my planes were "toy" planes.

Honestly, go with with something more expensive if you want to step up to a 4 channel. Get a Parkzone T-28 or corsair. Their about 160$ more but the reliablility is more.

That is where this aircraft excels. It is under 100.00 and the performance is just excellent! Aerobatics are fun as well!

This will be a good transition from a 3 channel. It is made of EPO foam so crash resistance is much better than regular foam. If you have basic 3 channel knowledge, this will be a great next step!

How is the range? I heard that this is just a basic 27mhz transmitter and does not work properly on some. Does it come on differnet 27mhz channels, or is it just 27mhz. Have you had any range problems, cut outs, etc? Thanks!

I have test flown on all the stock gear. I have not had any issues with the stock gear. If there is an issue, please let me know!

27mhz works just fine. In the video I used all stock components that comes in the package. Whether its 27mhz or 72mhz, if there is a radio issue, we will resolve it. Thnanks!

It will not go out of range. Any aircraft on 27 or 72 or even 2.4, it is like clock work for the pilot to range check the aircraft on the ground before flight. If there is a range issue at that time you will know. Contact me and I will resolve it.
