  • Solthiel provided a good answer, but the simplest one is: we don't know.

You're eluding to something science doesn't do, and what religion is exceptional at, more specifically creationism. That is to insert a supernatural power in the absence of scientific fact. Science, like evolution, is an ever changing process, and to suggest the scientific journey has come to an abrupt halt in the face of abiogenesis is...silly, to say the least. Others might not be so kind with their words.

  • That has nothing to do with evolution. Evolution is the process through which we get the variability of speciation, not how life appeared. If that's your only problem, then you can call yourself pro-evolution.

What you're speaking about is abiogenesis. And that -is- an interesting question. There are some pretty good ideas on how it happened, but it has nothing to do with evolution.

  • ok wait, you lost me at "hey there...ok..."

  • Is there anything I can explain for you that might help?

  • Excellent video, but way over the heads of most YouTube creationists.

  • I'm going to cross my fingers that at least one person watches this and understands the simplicity of these claims and gives it some thought.
