callin him a pussy, this is comin from people that are behind a computer screen. its his passion, like to see how you would feel going thru that process
Brady's not crying because he was picked in sixth round. He teared up because he was thinking of what his parents were going through watching him agonize through the draft.
What a joke. I can't believe people are busting his balls over this. "He's a pussy." "Were the tears real?." Go back to watch Entertainment Tonight.
Not crying doesn't make you tougher than someone who does. This idea that 'tough men' don't cry is just stupid. The truth is, it's COLD people who don't cry or people who won't let themselves be vulnerable because they're afraid of what people will think. How is that tough on any level? There's nothing tough about hiding an emotion, but rather the toughness is seen when someone works through it & presses on anyways.
@420JoeDean We will just have to disagree on this. Brady is one of my favorite athletes but that's why I don't like seeing him act like a little bitch. With that long hair he doesn't care how feminine he looks. Jim Brown or Ray Lewis would tell him to act like a man. Which is the way I like my athletes, tough as nails.
@stillchaos i dint said that he won with her. all the atheltes cry when they do something that they been working for their whole lives like tom and the draft thats why he was crying
@headhunter108 I have a soft side but I would rather not see him cry. It just screams weakness to me something I really don't want to see from him. I can remember a time when he came into the league and took over with his precise play. I don't believe he was crying then and that is the side I wanted to see in this interview. He could have told them to take it out. But if he wants to look soft so be it.
It's funny that the only QBs in that draft that had a good career besides Brady were Chad Pennington and Mark Bulger. Both of them have lost their prime, while Brady hasn't.
I remember watching him play in college, he was so cool under fire he just kept coming back and kept fighting, and telling everyone " Remember this name, Tom Brady, this guy is a Hall of Famer if he can ever get drafted".
I think this is awesome the fact that it still bothers Brady and it drives him to succeed no matter how many rings he has, how much money, the supermodel wife all means fuck all what matters is the game and the feeling of that draft day nobody wanted him nobody wanted the greatest QB in the history of the game and you can see the drive and sheer will to be a winner. That attitude cant be bought or made its inside you and after all he has done Bradys fire still burns cause nobody thought he could
I can understand him crying because of the emotion of the situation. But I wanted him to look right at the camera and say "I think I've showed them all where I should have been drafted." I want my favorite QB to be a little tougher than that.
@stillchaos That's why a lot of Super Bowl winning players cry when they hold up the Lombardi Trophy? Wanting to play in the NFL, something you've worked for all your life... that's something to cry over.
