To have died while trying to rescue a wounded colleague marks this man as a particularly honourable type of hero.
I know the Duchess of Cornwall, as Royal Colonel to 4th Bn. The Rifles, has taken a very active interest in the progress of her soldiers, and she has spoken eloquently of their bravery and honour.
I was in basic training with rodders, and he was a well motivated bloke. we were never freinds, but I will always remember him as a great soldier, and I hope he rests in peace
i knew this man at school and indeed he was super fit and one of a kind. Actually he was scarily fit and it seemed that he never gave into any of the cliques at school, he always had a kind of independence and a dissarming smile, oh well, there's my opinion, rip rodney wilson.
RIP Rodney. I'm sure I speak on behalf of all ex-Dukies.
