You can still purchase a new splitter from your Ingersoll dealer. They do not offer the 3-point mount style any longer, just the tow behind model...same 2-way splitting design as shown in the video. There is/was a new one in the distributors showroom floor by me with a price tag of $2012.00

stroke is 25" and are sold at Ingersoll Garden Tractor dealers. Ingersoll GT are owned and made by Eastman / Ingersoll (Portland, Maine) and a new one is just over $2000. They make a tow behind model also instead of a 3-point hitch mount. No problems with bark inside as it generally clears itself during operation.
I have no worldly need for one, yet I really want one. Great video, keep them coming

Does ingersoll still make the splitter or can I only find them used? Looks like ingersoll has cut way back on the their attachment lineup.

Awesome video! I always wanted to see one of those working. That looks to be a 1983 or 84 model year splitter.
The tractor looks nice from what I can see.
For those wondering Ingersoll still makes these and the tractors.
Keep up the good work.

Hi Again,
What would be the length of the stroke on this unit.
What is the cost & where are these available?
What a great design. Seems compact yet strong.
Do you have any problem with bark or chips getting caught inside the channel?
Thx, Dave

yes, it would work quicker with a larger pump. The Case / Ingersoll garden tractors have 9.5 gpm pump to operate the tractor and attachments.
