That's the classi behavior of a western guy taking african item and illustrating it with westernal color and sound ! And they claim to be experts of africa !
You don't get the rhythm of the original track. That's why you track is such a mismatch with the dance. The original performance was a communal thing, your music has an "I, myself and I" western approach to it that ruins the whole thing. If you're going to make music based on somebody else's culture, you should take the time to study that culture first.

That's a terrible track. It TOTALLY kills the beauty and power that is is the orignal. You suck for trying to change it.
